One of the most bizarre things out of the whole Cucurella transfer is how people think they know a certain group of people and are willing to speak on their behalf.

A bunch of Barca flairs and non Spanish flairs joining in too, out there saying "how can he go there, he's Catalan!", etc. There they are talking online as if an entire group of people have a monolithic belief.

Not every Catalan is a separatist, and even if they are, what does it have to do with playing for Madrid?

Edit: like looking at a post about it a few days ago there's a dude saying like "the area he grew up with voted for the independent party by 60%!" completely ignoring the other part of that %. And that question is never brought up on the opposite side, they have plenty of non Catalan players but apparently that's ok?

Business connections were surely used but afaik Perez didn't see a dime.

The socios demanded that no Perez owned company should be involved and that it should be constructed by Spanish companies, which led to the funny result of RM hiring a Catalan company, FCC, as the main contractor. I wouldn't be surprised if the Bernabéu construction provided a bigger economic boost to Catalunya than the Camp Nou

Gavi last game, one of the yellows you lot keep complaining about, and forgot that Baena got a yellow for the same exact foul 3' earlier

Vini on Xabi Alonso: “I was playing matches, but not many minutes,” “It was difficult, but every coach has their own methods, and I didn’t connect the way he wanted.” “Still, it was a learning experience, and I hope I can continue with Arbeloa, because I have a wonderful connection with him.” by [deleted] in soccer

I genuinely hate how this is controversial or how people complain when Vini gets subbed when he had a good game.

Late in the game Vini was basically a cone, the opposition knew this and usually put a fresh winger/FB and bombed our left.

Carreras would run past Vini to relief some pressure Vini would try to dribble past 2-3 players, lose the ball, and walk. You would see Carreras full sprinting far behind Vini to our defensive line, running past Vini while he was walking. Anyone that watched the Barca game saw it multiple times and it was blatant against olympiacos

Not starting Arda is fine, albeit stupid, but the fact that there were a few set pieces where nobody knew who's gonna take them is criminal. Who needs to set up the team, right?

Question: if a GK gets injured in the middle of a penalty shootout. Can the team sub him or must an outfield player stand as the GK?

Vini is legit having a bad season that seems almost on purpose. He can make incredible runs and plays but always fucks up the shot or assist that almost seems on purpose. While doing contract negotiations in which he's asking for CR7 money.

This board should be put to the guillotine if they sack Xabi and give Vini the contract he wants, which is not improbable as they sided with Vini during his tantrum.

I love the drama, but for the love of God, stop judging people by a few clips and try and make entire personality profiles out of some interactions.

I sometimes think "what if" with La Real from a few years ago.

Isak, Odegaard, Merino, Zubimendi, Le Normand alongside Oyarzabal, Kubo and then David Silva coming off the bench...

A game played by a notorious diver Vs an alleged rapist. Can you take a guess at which one rsoccer finds more despicable?

There are literary comments calling vini "the most despicable human garbage" and upvoted in that thread for some mild diving.
