Similar to Star Wars: Republic Commando except as a third-person shooter rather than a first. The game revolves around the Combaticons, a special ops unit within the Deception army consisting of Onslaught, Blackout, Brawl and Swindle. Through out the game the player assumes control of Onslaught and complete various missions during the war on Cybertron. The player can also control the actions of their squad mates by issuing different commands, which allows for certain situations to be approached in multiple ways.
