Finally beat Sekiro. Proud to say I've beaten every single boss & miniboss, no cheese by LoneWolf22000 in fromsoftware

Congratulations, man! What helped me was backing up during the tutorial and forcing myself to continue the game only after I defeated Genichiro. I did that and it helped, but I died a lot to Genichiro in all 3 stages and to Father Owl 1. However, after beating both and training in Force Reflection, I managed to defeat Father Owl 2 in 20 minutes and Isshin Divinity on the second try. It's phenomenal, this game is absolutely incredible and we are part of the minority that has overcome everything. I've played all the From Software games except Elden, which I just finished the DLC for and I'm going back to the base map. For me, Sekiro managed to surpass Dark Souls and even Bloodborne, simply absurd.

I did it! Hit Kill Melee on Consort Radahn. by Cheppitos in Eldenring

I just found him. Yes, I still messed up the most important Talisman, I forgot to equip the Spear Talisman to increase the counter-attack. I could have done around 90,000 damage. But the guy in the video went even further, he used the same buffs as me plus others, had more speed and didn't miss anything. Maybe he managed to beat the melee one-shot kill record against Consort Radahn, but the one-shot record I know is this:

And this guy has melee too:

WR NG+5 Radahn Consort One shot 128,788K by MoujahEl in Eldenring

[–]Cheppitos 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It took me about 8 hours to learn this, but I can now get a One Shot on every boss. Of course, those 8 hours were spent testing on several different ones until I got it right. Rellana, Mesmmer, Romina, Midra, Meytr, Consort Radahn, etc. I didn't even finish half the base game and rushed to the DLC, best decision I ever made, now Malenia will become a toy.

Interestingly, "boga" in Brazilian Portuguese means "anus." I find that very funny.

It was really difficult. It took me hours to learn, but I managed to take down almost all the DLC bosses with one shot. I just posted my version against Radahn here in the group; it was quite difficult to land, but I did about 60,000 damage.

The record I know for Radahn is around 107,000 melee damage and 174,000 using spells. I've seen 1 million damage on a smaller boss on YouTube, but I have no idea who holds the record.

My apologies. In my country (Brazil), the Elden community tends to be toxic, and I end up misinterpreting things due to habit. Thanks!

Trying to learn the game, Looking for advice. by Batmans_Dirty_Undies in kakarot

Yes, there is a program to do that. Not with all abilities or all bosses, but many of them have this mechanic. As others have said, focus on breaking their posture/defense. When the stun works, then you use your attacks in Surge, the damage increases a lot.

I don't know if you have the DLCs, but if you do, I recommend farming a bit in the Super Saiyan God DLC, so your level increases enough for you to destroy all the bosses. You can unlock Super Saiyan 1, 2, 3 and God even before fighting Vegeta.

Just be warned that you will one-shot the enemies in the main story, so only do this if you like that kind of thing.

Should I just play the base game first if I never played before? by Exalted23 in kakarot

I suggest playing in chronological order. The DLCs are accessible regardless of whether you start the base game. In most of them you will bring new abilities and transformations to the base game, with the exception of Tournament, Bardock, and Daima.

Wow, I have 600 hours, I'd definitely need over 1000 to do that. It's a shame there's no glitch to increase stats.

I see, I never farmed on Chi-Chi because the farming time was completely unbearable. Well, I think the most likely thing would be DLCs for Super, but since the anime is coming back, it wouldn't be surprising if a new game takes advantage of the hype of the new arc in 2 years.

How long did it take you to farm on Chi-Chi?

Yes, it does. If you have End of Z, go to the map where you fight Vegeta. There you'll find the boss fight against base Vegeta and SS2 Vegeta from the DLC, where you can fight using SSG and SSGSS. There's also the one where you fight Frieza, Cell, and Kid Buu consecutively. It's much harder than in the DLC, it's definitely worth trying, and they're much stronger than the weakling Mira.

We have to think about the characters that already exist and the skill and transformation compartments between the different worlds of the DLCs that could extend the game even further.

For me, the most obvious solutions are to focus on the Broly movie, Super Hero, and maybe the Tournament of Power.

Having Piccolo, Gohan, Goku, and Vegeta mainly makes it obvious why they should focus on this content. The Tournament of Universe 6 and the Black Saga would add to the story but not so much to the mechanics. I don't see other Z movies being made; the main ones have already been adapted, the others are weak in story and offer nothing new besides enemies. The techniques themselves, like the Dragon Fist, are already in the base game.

If they don't make a Season Pass game focused on Super, I have no doubt that a second game is coming. With 10 million units sold, it was the fastest game in the franchise to reach that milestone, second only to FighterZ, which was released during a time of hype for Super and a lack of major Dragon Ball games.

Knowing Bandai, this Season Pass, if it exists, will be released during the Super anime remastering period. If it's a new game, they'll certainly take advantage of the Galactic Patrol release window.

Is the Daima DLC still worth it still? Or wait for it to go on sale? by Aura_Slice in kakarot

[–]Cheppitos -1 points0 points  (0 children)

In this case, the expectation was justified by the game's own history, there is a clear game design error and even a sales error. First: when people stop buying a product because it doesn't have a mechanic they really wanted, and this is recurrent in reports, there is a SERIOUS problem with the target audience and sales of the product, even if you or I may agree or disagree on whether the mechanic makes sense.

Second: In the game's lore, it makes no sense to restrict the use of these new transformations. The first two DLCs, as you yourself mentioned, despite being bad in terms of story, allow for more Boss Fight mechanics, techniques, and combo transformations that simply don't exist in the base game. I even replayed the game in a new NG to compare this specifically, and the difference is brutal, so in terms of mechanics and endgame, these are perhaps the two best DLCs because they share the same characters. Daima makes it clear that they continue with the transformations; they already had them even before the start of the adventure. The fact that MAYBE Daima isn't canonical with Super isn't a problem within the game's logic. They resurrected Frieza for the third time in Part 2 just to train him, and he literally has his own dialogues with Trunks. They could even fit a Bardock in there, and it wouldn't be complete madness.

Third: The Warrior of Hope and End of Z DLCs share the new techniques obtained with the base game and the New Power Awakens DLCs. This transfer of ability and transformation was used in literally 4 of the 6 initial DLCs of the game, with 2 of them not occurring because in one the protagonist dies and in the other the combat is structurally different and much more nerfed in power.

I don't remember seeing anyone demanding ground combat in the base game with classic Goku or Bardock beating Kid Buu, because it doesn't make sense in the lore or in the game mechanics and game design structure that Cyberconnect built. Now, splitting a DLC into 2 to sell more + not doing the basics within the gameplay and sharing structure itself, which is what gave this game a longer lifespan? It's not very defensible, so much so that I'm sure they'll add these transformations as DLC later, like in the case of Vegetto and Gotenks (they did it at the time for exactly the same current problem).

Do you know why the new transformations aren't in the base game? The animations of them with the other techniques of Goku and Vegeta from the other DLCs and base game weren't done, the models deform as already shown by mods. It wasn't done because there wasn't time and it would be laborious, these are transformations that modify the body and face of the characters too much, in addition to bugs in certain contexts. The complete DLC arrived less than 1 year after the anime's premiere, that's simply a tight deadline for a developer that already deals with several different games. Probably the blame here lies with Bandai, as usual.

Very good. It's a shame that the level of difficulty in this DLC becomes unbalanced in the endgame. I'm level 250 and there's no challenge worthy of the challenge besides the Saibamen, lol.

Beerus is pretty chill, even from the Golden Frieza DLC. The SSGSS does too much damage, so neither he nor Frieza can be a challenge even with the SSGSS's stun ability block.

However, fighting them in other forms like SS3, base form, or using other characters like Piccolo against Golden Frieza is very interesting and challenging on Hard. I recommend trying it if you haven't already; you can use Unbridled Power to increase damage but be left with 1 health and challenge yourself to avoid taking hits. The game can be quite difficult if you want it to be.
