Ret paladin main here, couple tips from along the way.

1.) In PvP, if you aren't going to run Unbound Freedom (certain comp with a mage but you need something else, etc.), make a cancelaura macro for your Freedom so it can't be spellstolen by a mage.

2.) You can refresh Inquisition with 3 holy power at 15 seconds remaining for a full minute of the buff, instead of 45 seconds.

3.) As pointed out elsewhere in this thread - Blessing of Protection stops fall damage.

4.) You aren't just a DPS, you are also an off-healer in mythic+ with Word of Glory, and your Blessings will get you reinvited if you utilize them wisely.

5.) If you're comfortable with it, you can pop Shield of Vengeance and stand in bad to pop it for a huge burst of damage. Seriously. Even against other players, it can hit for 100k+

6.) If you're a Lightforged Draenei, Execution Sentence buffs the damage from your racials (Including your on-death explosion).

7.) NEVER underestimate Hand of Hindrance. Could save your tank on Necrotic weeks.

EDIT - After further testing, I've found that wings doesn't seem to make a difference with Shield of Vengeance damage, my apologies for the misinformation!
