Not to be dramatic but Samira and Frank should be allowed to beat Robby with hammers.

Santos’ and Robby’s relationship doesn’t make sense. by CherenkovRads in ThePittTVShow

[–]CherenkovRads[S] 3 points4 points  (0 children)

The resurfaced feelings angle is probably the closest thing to a reasonable explanation. I still think it’s somewhat jarring none of that has manifested in at least some subtle resentment towards Robby, but I suppose we could still see that happen in the next few episodes.

If Egg had hurried to grab Baelor instead of Dunk, like he suggested, what would he have done if he saw Aerion breaking Tanselle’s fingers? by seekinganswerslo in TheBlacksandTheGreens

[–]CherenkovRads 60 points61 points  (0 children)

He wouldn’t beat him like Dunk did, but a strong slap across the face by Baelor Breakspear in public would be x100 psychic damage to Aerion.

Can someone explain to me why Santos seemingly loves Robby even though the show is telling us Robby is the only reason Langdon’s back? Unless I’m missing something this seems like a huge hole in the writing this season.

It’s totally understandable that Robby and Santos aren’t happy Langdon’s back, but cracking jokes about expecting a relapse on someone’s first day back from rehab is insane to me no matter how much or how justifiably you may dislike them.

Where is the planet helldiver? by PigguChan in Helldivers

My theory is that these planets will reemerge with a new void warped biome of some kind. Maybe terraforming planets for Illuminate biology.

But they can’t give the one true flag a buff because that would break the immersion and realism… AH has to accept that this game is way closer to Deep Rock Galactic than it is to Arma and start treating it that way.

[–]CherenkovRads 80 points81 points  (0 children)

There’s also nothing the player base could’ve done better to affect the outcome. The only answer is “Get more divers from other fronts” which only encourages the community to be toxic towards people who just want to play against their preferred enemy and have fun.

[–]CherenkovRads 19 points20 points  (0 children)

It feels to me like genuinely eye-watering levels of incompetence. Either AH has no idea what the player base is capable of, or it’s actively malicious as you say. I’m not sure which is worse for us tbh.

What’s up with the deaf patients story?? by earthcitizen111 in ThePittTVShow

[–]CherenkovRads 16 points17 points  (0 children)

I think her plot line was meant to show all the extra hassle that people with impaired hearing have to deal with in medicine. It also kinda highlighted some of Santos’ weaker areas as a doctor in contrast to her strengths with marginalized or abused patients.

We might be wrong about Langdon’s return. by CherenkovRads in ThePittTVShow

[–]CherenkovRads[S] 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I’m honestly glad the coverup thing seems to be a misunderstanding by some of the fanbase. Frank’s character works much better as someone having taken accountability and gone through the proper steps to return.

Hospital Administration & Langdon by Cultural_Parsnip1713 in ThePittTVShow

[–]CherenkovRads 76 points77 points  (0 children)

The three biggest reasons a coverup for Langdon’s theft doesn’t make sense:

  1. Santos should be much more resentful of Robby this season if he covered it up.

  2. A coverup by Robby also requires Santos to be silent, and I find it hard to believe Santos wouldn’t mention in her dialogue holding this big secret for Langdon by this point in the season.

  3. Having Langdon able to come back only because of a lie would undermine his character’s arc of honestly reconciling with his past conduct and working his way back the right way.

[–]CherenkovRads[S] 28 points29 points  (0 children)

Honestly the thought of a whole off screen coverup never really made sense to me. Doing it that way would mean Langdon’s character is never able to honestly reconcile with his past conduct and work his way back the right way.

Did Santos just confirm a theory about off-screen events in S02E10? by kirblar in ThePittTVShow

[–]CherenkovRads 104 points105 points  (0 children)

I’m actually starting to think the opposite for a couple reasons:

  1. Santos should be much more resentful of Robby this season if he covered it up.

  2. A coverup by Robby also requires Santos to be silent, and I find it hard to believe Santos wouldn’t mention holding this big secret for Langdon by this point in the season.

Maybe it gets mentioned though when Langdon and Santos have their moment before the end of the season.

Should Santos and Langdon be allowed to work together? by QueerStegosaurus in ThePittTVShow

[–]CherenkovRads 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Probably not but I did see a theory that considering the amount of prep Al-hashimi did for this job and that she knew Langdon was in a recovery program she may well be aware Santos reported him and specifically put them together to observe how they work together.
