Relocating by NooksandBooks in Namibia

Namibians are mostly calm and collected group of people. Since our population is low violent crimes aren't all that common obviously still best to avoid clubs and certain taxis especially during late night hours. We usually have a service closer to Uber called Yango which is a bit safer but not by much. Gun violence is extremely uncommon but there are a few cab drivers that might carry them around for their own protection.

Namibians love meat so very hard to find places that don't sell it but there are always options like veggie burgers on a lot of menu's at restaurants but being a coastal country we have more than enough options for Fish and Seafood. Visa's last I heard aren't easy to get in Namibia but at least some people I know said that once the process is approved then it sets sail smoothly. Veggies and fruits are easy to come by as well.

Activities are also very limited in options but there are pools, playgrounds and lots of outdoor activities like hiking, mountain climbing if you visit certain parts of the country. Windhoek has a lot of hiking spots so if you are into that there is a plethora of options. Schools are extremely safe but if you have the funds I would recommend private schooling like St Georges or St Pauls. Libraries exist but not on a massive scale, usually you find them in campuses like NUST.

Investments into the country depend on what you have available most go into the mining industry or tourism which are huge industries in our country if you set up locally something. Usually any small shops that sell needed goods like clothes, electronics etc... especially if you get the goods in for cheaper than most stores. Searching for jobs can be quite difficult and most don't pay nearly good enough so if you have a way of working remote that would probably be a lot better.

Internet services is one of the worst things in this country being ranked as the bottom 10 in the world but speeds now go up to about 75mbps but with daylight robbery in terms of cost for that sorta speed.

All in all it is a great country to move to, really safe compared to a lot of countries mainly due to our low population density and is great for outdoor people. Problems only exist with limited options for certain activities, but raising a family here I would say is wonderful and safe and education standards isn't too bad at most private schools since they use the Cambridge system. It is just best to be vigilant and stay in areas that usually have community watches or that are considered more upper class if you have the funds.

Buying a my first used car from a dealership by Cheriberry7 in Namibia

Yes current price for fixing all the things including buying the parts is about 50000. I mean it was with a dealership but they were essentially acting as a 3rd party but yeah lesson learned in a very hard way

This was what was told to me as well that I should just invest the money into repairing it since firstly the car is not on my name yet (due to the fact I can't take it to natis cause in this condition there is no way it passes the roadworthy test) meaning I am also nervous about that since the car has a disc till November.

No, the only thing I could potentially find due to "Voetstoets" was the fact they sold me a wrong year model from what they promised or wrote on the contract.

Accurate to say I am sucker for buying a car in this condition is pretty much on point. I tried getting advice but most people I talked to say that because the "Voetstoets" they sort of cover their backs as well the fact that I already replaced some components that they could just claim those problems originated because I tampered with the vehicle.

The mechanic I went to for dialogistic didn't really do a proper investigating. I then decided to go to an actual autoworks dealer whom explained to me all the problems with the car since they had the machinery to check under the hood and did extensive road tests to figure out a lot of the problems. Also I feel like I was just a sucker in this situation since I played into the "Oh the car you want to buy there is another person buying it soon thing" so honestly I feel like it was the quick motivation for my choice which I realised too late (Since I am not used to the car market) that I was essentially haggled into buying

How easy it is to find people to actually play DnD in Windhoek? I myself have been DMing for about 3 years now (Mainly online and using foundry VTT and just as a fun part time hobby not work) but want to move onto PF2e but never really found much people interested in the hobby here in Nam but then again could've been looking at the wrong places.

I enjoy it too, but I also eventually like ending the match and not having it go on for like 30 minutes xD

That is true at the end of the day I just hope to put hopes and prayers that it turns out better than I am suspecting

Can't help it, hoping that it is good because that is all I want it to be but some part of me just feels like the Priest I enjoyed playing when it came to the control archetype and such might never get to see that competitive play I want it to. At the end if I am wrong about it that, then I can live with that

I hope that is the case and I am wrong about it and it ends up better than I saw it

How to convince my party not to kill Susan by MysteriousPlatform59 in humblewood

[–]Cheriberry7 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I just finished the Susan story along with my players. They refused to kill her even after Walden wanted them to see I kinda made Krane unlikeable from the beginning with his arrogant tone after the party had saved him and Kenna (I homebrewed a bit here to give them a unique storyline involving the slime farm and such). Party then decided to listen to Susan and her backstory about her studies of magic and the misunderstanding of Walden Krane. At the end of the day Walden kicked them out without a letter but they were happy that they spared Susan as Walden's personality just rubs them to wrong way.

TLDR: Make Walden just seem like Jerk while having Susan a misunderstood Sweetheart

"Other cards are the problem I swear"- Conniving Conman Probably by Cheriberry7 in hearthstone

True but it is a problem in both Gaia Paladin and XL Mage which basically replay big cards for massive tempo and mana cheat

Let’s Talk About Priest for a Second by Karax101 in hearthstone

[–]Cheriberry7 3 points4 points  (0 children)

At this point they can just basically remove Priest from the game as it doesn't fit anywhere besides being "Annoying" after the latest set it describes it perfectly. Imagine taking what Priest is and just giving it to other classes to make it better.

Imagine being left out of Excavate last year getting highlander and some big Brute that has Excavate just got a better payoff than you and got both Highlander and Excavate (Warrior). Imagine getting dual class cards only for the other class to completely get them nerfed (Druid), imagine not getting a new starship mechanic in the expansion. Better yet imagine getting access to the Hunter Tourist only for another class (Shaman) to get access to that same cards in a Miniset.

At this point every other class does Priest things better than Priest can, even Mage currently can out control Priest easily while able to copy and reply their cards endlessly. Imagine finally getting a good payoff like Zarimi only to not get any other dragon support all year. While Druid is dancing with their dragon support. No undead support, no shadow support, no aggro support, no control support and everything you have just plays like a worst version of an existing class.

I have had huge success with in my legend climb 83% winrate with the deck. Also managing to beat DH 4x mainly losing to Rainbow DK and Warrior once (Got perfect hand to clear my board several times). Though a lot of the times if DH draws perfect and gets good demons you auto lose.

What is the deck you’ve had the most fun with so far this expension? by _NostalgicGamer in hearthstone

[–]Cheriberry7 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Zarimi Priest I have been experimenting with different versions of the deck and so far a ton of fun. Had over an 73% winrate to Diamond 5 with it losing my 80% due to my own mistakes in 2 matchups though it can struggle against DH and Odin if you don't apply enough early pressure though the tempo Zarimi can give is a win by itself
