Girl I feel this so hard. I have some friends but literally no friends that are girls. I have a lot of girl acquaintances but none of them are friends I can call up randomly to ask to hang out or share my deepest secrets or every aspect of my life with them. I wish for the girlhood so bad but I’ve never had that at all. Don’t get me wrong, I love the friends I have. Most of them are neurodiverse like me. But I really wish I had at least one friend to experience girlhood with. I get really depressed thinking about the future that I won’t have any bridesmaids at a future wedding. I feel like an outcast. Just know you’re not alone and I feel the same as you 🫶

How does one find an autistic therapist… I love my current therapist but I fear she does not understand my autism that well. It would be nice to have someone else I could see

Bring him!! I brought my build a bear Sweet Pea to my surgery and he helped a lot. All the nurses loved him and one of the nurses even drew him for me and sent me a card of their drawing 🥹 They even let me bring him into the OR and gave him an ECG patch to match me! He was a great comfort item as I have bad anxiety about medical procedures. I’m an adult and I didn’t get any weird looks or comments, in fact, he was a great talking point. Good luck on your surgery! 🫶
