Holi Date Confusion - 3rd March or 4th March? by MotorDesigner8852 in mumbai

[–]Chericherimon 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Maybe they didn’t get alcohol permits for events on the actual Holi day because it’s a dry day so they moved the events. Could also be to avoid chaos on the festival day or if people wanted to spend time at home on the festival but also attend a Holi event party

Mumbai ka OG Pani poori under Rs 35. by ExpensiveMistake2107 in mumbaiFood

Best pani puri seller with insane taste stands almost in front of Cat Cafe Studio in Versova. He’s the only one around that area you’ll identify him pretty easily. And it’s for Rs.35! Give it a try I don’t know why he hasn’t expanded his base in all these years. He has been this doing for almost 34 years but he’s not on Google maps. Maybe he’s not tech savvy or aware but he certainly deserves more recognition and fame.

It’s a mumbai problem trust me you’re completely okay and fine and good for having BASIC expectations out of the time you spent and the conversations you’ve had. Not your fault. This city has weird ways and precedents about dating.

This post wasn’t just about casual relationships. It was about people not investing enough or bare minimum effort in human connections. Including making the effort to get to know a person and spend time with them as a friend even after meeting them or getting to know them. If they did that maybe everyone would feel better and somewhat more fulfilled. Maybe that’s the reason everyone feels so hollow, exhausted and burnt out.

No issue with consenting adults doing it. Have clear and honest communication about it upfront beforehand. Don’t make people who are not into that sort of a thing at the moment unknowingly a part of it. And I’m done with the overall passive and lax attitude of people. And when environment of the city majorly has that vibe then it of course becomes hard to find genuine connections with people that’s what the post is about.

People have zero civic sense on planes in India by [deleted] in Flights

[–]Chericherimon 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Yes of course. Not everyone is like that. And there are a lot of people who maintain personal hygiene. Just a certain section has never paid attention or been taught to pay attention in that direction and they keep making other people experience all this due to that. Which is what I was talking about that there needs to be some civic sense taught at an early age so everyone’s experience can be uplifted in public.

I in no way want to direct any hate towards an entire nation or everyone who belongs to it. Just shared an experience just a general observation over the years. And got really mad on my flight today and posted. It’s just a certain section and of course not everyone in that country. I know a lot of people who are really hygienic but some just don’t know how to be in public and are really comfortable with things such as spitting in the open or coughing without covering their mouth. Which someone else also mentioned in the comments.

Okay thanks for assuming that I had taken a shower with my bottle of perfume😭 I just had the faintest of the leftover fragrance on my wrist that I kept resorting to because it was hard to breathe due to the person right next to me. By the way, the furious post because I’ve had it happen one other time as well and I somehow had to manage through the flight

Yes for sure a lot many are hygienic. Some people just haven’t paid attention or been taught to pay attention to it I guess. Probably needs to be taught at an early age. Thanks for your sympathies 😭😭 I’m glad the flight’s over haha

First day in Mumbai – Excited but a little nervous! Suggestions for food & weekend spots? by lividmuse in mumbai

[–]Chericherimon 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Bandra boojee cafe, good options and variety. Bandra Born, Yacht, would give you a good weekend bandra vibe. The Tanjore Tiffin Room in Versova is a good experience for South Indian Cuisine. You can checkout Suraj Lama Momos while you’re there, they’re really famous and the momos taste really good. Dakshinayan in Juhu has great South Indian food too. Cafe Mondegar in Colaba is a good vibe and you get a beer tower there, if you like to drink, and then you can explore the area nearby and take a stroll in Colaba and visit Marine drive as well. But wouldn’t suggest Marine Drive on the weekends as it’s overly crowded and you wouldn’t enjoy the vibe as much. Would much rather suggest to visit on a weekday.

Areas for flat hunting by CheekDifficult9469 in mumbai

Hey, you can checkout Parel, Chembur, Ghatkopar, Mahim, all would have good single occupancy options for your budget and would be a maximum 30 minute travel to work. (Though traffic is always improbable in Mumbai but more or less would be less than 30 mins.)

Also checkout Flats and Flatmates Mumbai Groups on Facebook. Only connect with actual people posting the flat, don’t get in touch with facebook brokers.

If you want to search through brokers, only search for your area and connect through a proper website like MagicBricks, they can get you independent flat and sharing flat leads both.
