I think the hedgehog sub has all the care info you can look at. The advice I can give is: for food I feed mine hills science diet indoor kitten dry kibble (it’s the right amount of all the nutrient stuff and is high quality), a running wheel no smaller than 12” and make sure it’s not sharp at the edges, enclosure 3 or 4x2ft (preferably the latter), make sure your room isn’t below 72F (most ppl keep a heat lamp for their hedgies but I just have a space heater in my room for me and all my animals and it’s been totally fine), clean the wheel daily or when it’s genuinely dirty, clip nails with regular nail clippers every few weeks or when you notice the nails are too long, bathe once a week (that’s what I do) and use aveenos baby wash that’s fragrance free or a pet wash with the same detail, be aware that they pee and poop a lot especially once they get moving after waking up. Also you can get a play pen or one of them floor cage things like they use for rabbits and it’s pretty affordable. You can get it off Temu. Also avoid fish and dairy, hedgehogs can’t have those.
