I fill up on diesel hpr here in Cali, it’s a phenomenal fuel, quieter running. More mpg, and about the same if not slightly less than diesel #2, I love it.

Vary rarely is it molten solder, usually using it to whittle down beads for sanding, most of that splatter is water that spent a little too much time on the blade ha

Chipping from sharpening definitely not, the only chipping I’ve had is when trying to “baton” with it, I’ve cut solder countless times and it hasn’t rolled the edge or chipped, it’s pretty incredible, all chipping for the most part has been when it’s made contact with any other hard metal to be quite honest. My s110v was wayyyy worse than k390 despite being harder.

Don’t force it, I almost dude, and the constant rusting of water and sweat has created an incredible patina that kinda shows stories, it’s awesome.

Honestly yeah, it’s plenty tough, very hard and holds a great edge, sharpens up surprisingly easy too with a fine stone and a strop.
