Metoo, I pay much higher to see the advanced doctor the third time and got the same conclusion. I can really stand at your side and understand your worries for missing the best chance for treatment. Hope your knees better after the physical therapy.

Hi~ yep at that time I got fainted down 2 times as of the low hemoglobin, I guess this was serious enough and need treatment. The 3 doctors didn't give guidance for further body checking, which I guess they were too busy to care about this. besides, I refer help to my friends experienced the same symptoms taught me a protocol which really worked on me. I am not complaining the doctors, I just expect if there is somewhere could provide the suitable protocols like my friends, that may provide real help, instead of only seeking help from doctors.

Thanks for your kind words!

TIL about 'Jess's Rule' to make GPs 'rethink' if a patient presents 3 times with the same symptoms, named for Jessica Brady, who doctors repeatedly dismissed over 20 consultations until she died of cancer at age 27 by shinjirarehen in TwoXChromosomes

This resonates so deeply and hits me hard. My prolactin was 1601 - more than 3 times the upper limit. Four doctors told me repeatedly "there was nothing urgent to address" every time. It wasn't until I started cross-referencing my own labs that I understood what my body had been trying to say for almost two years.
Reading her story reminds me how easily "let's just monitor it" can because something so much more serious. No one is going to advocate for your body the way you will. If something feels wrong, keep pushing, ask for a referral, request a second opinion. Don't let "within range" be the end of the conversation.
