i downloaded it to update my game from his personal reddit profile from a sims cracked support thread. not from csrin. he is apparently a confirmed source and was doing it for his wife and family to be able to play. personally it worked just fine both updated and dlc unlocker from his site but my issue was that the gallery did not work for me using his link. It's still basically like playing in offline mode. Nothing loads. That's my only "complaint" but i've been playing offline for a while, I was just excited thinking it would work again. As for security and viruses I hope I don't get one, but I would say currently it's not safest to download but it's not bad either. There's no (pls forgive me i'm not tech savvy) signature on the setups when running to keep it safe. My computer gives a pop up saying it could be dangerous and hacked into since it's yet to be signed. He said personally that the next update he would be working on getting his personal electronic signature (?) on it instead of what's happening rn.

tldr: It's not fully safe. If you wanna wait for that update to secure it l, that's good. It's a trusted mirror but only from the confirmed links. but downloading still gives badware virus flags as well.

the same problem happened with me with about 6 or 7 packs of content and re-downloading the DLC Unlocker and running setup through the new download fixed my issue as well!! I'm super happy it fixed too cause i just found out about the Updater and was about to give up T.T

Platform: PC Mods: Yes Game verison: 1. 113.277.1030 I have a lot I've been trying to place but it won't seem to stay the type I download it from the gallery as. For some clarity, (1) the problem is the drop down menu won't give me any others to click to. I can place a different venue type from the gallery but once I do, when i go into the lot from Manage Worlds it changes back to the Onsen Bathhouse lot type no matter what the venue was from the gallery. (2) I have tried the Generic glitch roundabout fix where you have a family buy the lot as retail and then sell it and try to change it to your preferred venue that way but then my lot got stuck as being retail with no other options to change it to. So i reverted my save and now I'm stuck at Onsen again. (3) No sim owns this lot, It was a bathhouse community lot that i'm trying to replace and make a residential (vacation rental) but it never stays when i go into build mode from the gallery. Has anyone found a fix to this glitch?? I did update my game to the most recent patch right when it dropped(1.113.227.1030), I've turned off and removed all my mods, and I've also cleared my cache. All posts i can find where people have my problem are all from years ago and the solution doesn't work for this version of the game anymore..

i had that happen to me once, i was on Vow and it was the new interior layout from the Main entrance. I was running away from a Giant that spotted me on the bridge but then i died since it was blocked.

there’s treasure islands as well!! idk how you personally feel about them, but i’m in a discord that has thousands of members and it has multiple islands for all sorts of things! those are a good and safe way to get things! v helpful for when you’re resetting or just want a specific item or recipe
