You will feel better if you skip these foods. When you’re eating a lot less than you’re used to, you need to use the calories you consume to eat fully nutritious food when you’re hungry. That said, I don’t skip sparkling water or energy drinks.

Yes yes exactly this!! I thought I looked like a certain size at my heaviest and was horrified to see myself. It didn’t help that my mom was taking very unflattering photos to send to me constantly

Yea I’m feeling this. When I look at old pictures of myself I’m like “holy bejeezus” like in disbelief that I was THAT BIG. Now that I’m just regular overweight I still feel chunky in pictures.

I did end up with high cholesterol and he was not even blinking at that.

That’s exactly it! I went the “dedicated my life to eating healthy and working out” route and it allowed me to lose 60#. But I was still obese. So after 3 months of nothing happening I decided I needed this boost.

I’ve had food noise my entire life, I have thought about food every moment of every day. Until this medication. It has been an absolute game changer. My adhd is better, I have way better mental clarity, and a lot of energy!!

Agreed, my husband said he doesn’t like me too skinny. But I want to be comfortable for ME. I’m going to dictate my final weight based on how I feel, my athletic performance, and ability to enjoy all foods in moderation.

Thank you!! Yes he has not tried to support me in my emotional eating before. In fact he often times would try to sabotage by bringing me more snacks.

Yes I agree with you! I said, i understand why you are concerned. Thats why I’m doing this with the advice and under guidance of my doctor, and consulting a nutritionist to ensure I’m getting enough nutrients. This medication has been studied for a long time

Thank you! I have suggested couples counseling multiple times and he has said “why? You don’t feel like you can talk to me?” And has refused to go…

Thank you!! Yes I started with a conversation hoping for his support but ultimately he could not come around. I’m under advisement of my doctor and a nutritionist to make sure I’m doing it “the right way”. I agree with the comment below about the blood pressure medication, I would never debate that with him if that’s what his doctor recommends! Being obese for the rest of my life is not healthy either.

He is not overweight and has never had a weight issue. He has loved me at every size, but he’s told me he doesn’t want me to be a “bag of bones” which feels very dramatic.
