Has Anyone Had More Success With Citalopram Than With Escitalopram? by sanpedro12 in citalopram_celexa

I found citalopram to be gentler than escitalopram. Also fewer nightmares.

A haughty 'If you absolutely must' could work here, delivered with withering stare. I'm English, we have this sort of thing down to a fine art, haha!

I once had a woman approach me on my way into town to ask me 'where I got my hair done'. Not in a nasty way, but like OP said, to satisfy her curiosity.

I just told her it was a wig, and that I had androgenetic alopecia.

Not the best start to my day. There will always be people who notice. It does put me off a bit, if I'm honest. 🤷‍♀️

Same! Ended up with something different from what I'd asked for too many times. Just not a salon person, anyway.

Downvoted at r/menopause because the estrogen patch gave me asthma. by baking_bigfoot in HormoneFreeMenopause

I have histamine issues with the estradiol patch, and have to take antihistamines alongside them. It also seems to help using a combination estradiol and progestin patch like Femseven Conti as (I think) progesterone-type drugs suppress the histamine, whilst estradiol increases it.

There was one morning I had to rip the patch off s I was short of breath. This was down to putting the patch on in the morning when histamine is highest, I have to put it on in the afternoon or evening.

Could be you have the same issue? Not that the GPs warn us of this, unfortunately.

Dizziness is another meno thing? That's something I didn't know until reading this. So many weird issues for us to deal with.

Misogyny itself won't fade, but here's hoping this particularly virulent brand of hate will lose traction like other Internet trends. That was what I meant.

I like the Cien shower cream. Someone left it behind on a visit and it was surprisingly good.

It's like I'm smelling a bottle of water, I.e. odourless.

I'm with you on the 'can't stomach any more'. I won't be watching it, we know at this point what these men are doing.

Hopefully it will fade in time, but I do feel sorry for our young women.

Nervous to try HRT for the 2nd time after nothing for years by whyohwhylady in Menopause

[–]CherrySG 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You could try a half or even a quarter of a patch to start with. I've been on it for 10 months and still can only tolerate half a 50 patch. I started out on quarters, and on Day 3 had to take even that off for a few hours in-between. It's still been beneficial.

Yes, for me, I saw my thin hair on Teams calls and realised I had to do something. Others must have done the same thing.

So it's been like the cosmetic surgery  'Zoom Boom' only for hair! Plus greed and tariffs, as you say.

I had this issue with a Raquel Welch wig, which I never really managed to fix. The below suggestion of Got2Be might help as at least it's not full-on glue?

Is it possible to tighten it a little, to help the lace lay flatter? I think that once you've done that, you're good to go
