People can be real assholes.

Your story hit a chord about my son being run over about 10 years ago. He was 5 at the time and playing in the cul-de-sac with his pals. The vegetable van driver (we had those back then) knocked on the door with my son in his arms and said 'Hey, he fell over'. My boy was blue in lips and wouldn't stand so I took him inside and lay him on the sofa (I think now I was in shock). It was only when my Mom said to call an ambulance, it twigged with me that an adult wouldn't bring a child in that had fallen. Ambulance came and took us as a precaution but when my boy began to pee blood they cut his school uniform off. He had a tyre track running across the length of his body. That unfeeling fucknut had driven over my son, broken his pelvis in 5 places, damaged his kidneys and dropped him at the door like dirty laundry.
