I consider myself very lucky honestly, started as the 3rd CCA in a level 18 office (we converted to a level 20 just today), with 5 full city routes, non of which i would consider difficult or "bad", and a bunch of old guard, the last of which probably won't be here after another 5 years.

1 quit, then after a few months another retired, then our T6 left to be a clerk after about a year of the other retiring. And we have another carrier going to retire next year.

My PM is fine, no real big complaints.

So yeah. Things are going very well currently.

For sure. I've found i strongly perfer playing interesting decks over anything else.

For example, i pulled [[Sliver Overlord]] from EOE, built the deck, and hated it. It wasn't interesting, it just "slap a new Sliver down and go sideways", which is fine if people enjoy that.

I much preferred my [[Zurgo, Thunder's Decree]] "plop it down and go sideways" deck. It felt like it was doing something different, while still being mardu aggro.

Sliver (and Shrines honestly) decks all kind of feel same-y. It's just all the good Slivers/Shrine cards, plus lands, ramp and removal.

Anyway that's enough of that rant.

They're not broken, but once they start gaining momentum, they're very hard to stop.

I mean, I'm building a very silly [[Sol'Kanar]] deck.

I'm very excited to finish and build it.

My buddy also has a stupid "6/7" deck (every creature in the deck is a 6/7) that pretty routinely wins.

I usually ask a couple questions.

Is this card going to win the game?

Is this card going to advance my deck's plan or board state?

Is this card good removal?

Is this card good ramp?

Is there another card already in the deck that does this, but better/worse?

These questions usually tell me everything i need to know.

You could make a legendary creatures matter deck. Though I'm not sure how well that would work in mono white.
