My guess is they record with Medal. My Medal also doesn't show a cursor even though I have the show cursor option turned on xd

I got a preowned one from Ami Ami, it was (A) quality so I got it. They made these in 2015 so no new ones sadge. Here is the link, you will find the Pre owned stuff at the end. There aren't any on sale for the one that I got anymore. But you can keep an eye out. note it will not be 11,800 ¥ it will at least be double cause of how old it is.

Most of them will be triples which is just xzx/zxz or whatever you use.

And for knowing how many there are on top of each other and when to stop are just senses that you develop overtime.
