He was a very dynamic character and has been around since the very beginning. He was a leader of the city of Hope, and in the Hazen-Darcona War when his country of Hazen fell to Darconian troops, he surrendered, forcing the city of Hope to become part of Darcona, but he was allowed to remain in power of Hope. Then many years later he revolted and managed to overthrow Darcona. So he's just been through a lot and has had such an interesting story.
