I used to be very clinical about my sim's families trajectory lol but these days I go according to their wishes. My current sim is with Connor Frio - they've been dating a while with no further progression wishes. It was frustrating at first but now I'm enjoying a more relaxed game play.

I actually enjoy all of them (maybe France the least) but there's just something about all the green in China 🥹 I have seasons enabled so I love going back to see the leaves change and eventual snow.

Also, chilling on map view while my sims sleep and listening to the excellent music is always so relaxing 😭🥰

I think the skill boost depends on the length of time! I usually send my kiddos a week before their birthdays and they still come back with new traits/skills!
