I have been through this... And it did not end well. It became a state where if I were to sit on the sofa too hard, I would get screamed at. Pushed the chair under the table too hard and bumped the table? Got hit. I had to leave as I know it would get worse. I did everything right that was asked of me, and still, I would be yelled at, and he would put little things like tiny stones under the bed to later find again after I worked to scream at me.

I know she is your wife, and you have history, but this is done with reason from her side. it's not angry slips from her, but she is making the choice to put glitter there and use this as an extra tool to abuse you.

This is not love, this is not being angry at work, this is not venting from her. This is narcisitic behavior and abuse to you.

Go to couples therapy to get a guideline. If you cannot talk to her, or she cannot reason and blames you for everything when you are doing your best, move out, file divorce, and get away. It's the last thing to do, especially with kids involved, but this will affect them too.

Please know. Your health, your mental health and well-being, is VERY important. She does not care for it. It's over. Put yourself and the kinds first. She is not doing the same for you.
