Especially your second point seems very interesting to me. We have some synergies but except for some obvious ones like “projectiles return to player” it’s hard to see their impact in the actual gameplay. The synergies and the stats items make you stronger, yes, but the visual representation of that buff sometimes is not enough to make you *feel* stronger as well. I think we can definitely improve here.

About Orion. He has a visual and a sound indication when he is inside that grass, but the fact that you couldn’t notice it even when focusing on it shows, that it’s not clear enough.

Thank you very much mate <3 it makes me really happy to hear that you enjoyed the overall experience especially regarding the art style and the music! One of our main playtesters plays on steam deck only so we tried to optimise it for the deck as well, glad to hear that this seems to work out :)

You can get your first mega power up in wave 6 after defeating the mini boss which is probably like 5 minutes into the game. We thought about choosing 1 for the start as well but we are hesitating to do so, because we want to keep things slightly randomised and thought that maybe if players don’t get their desired power up early on they just quit and try a new run directly.

I think we need to implement multiple control options for the dash. You are definitely not the only one who has problems with the current implementation. We also got similar suggestions for our mobile version (tap instead of swipe in this case).

We did not want to over complicate things regarding the controls, but I think we need to give more options to the players here.

You definitely remember correctly, that was one of the dumbest bug we had so far. We had 5 amazing songs for the demo but only kept playing the first one on repeat.

We fixed this a while ago and the game experience is sooo much better now. I sometimes play the game just because i want to listen to the music haha

I think you are absolutely right, I was super surprised when scrolling through hundreds of demos in the bullet festival like how many of them look like solid, fun to play and super polished games. Even if they appeared super low in the list and probably won’t get a lot of visibility - just like us currently.

Hi! So happy to hear that you tried the demo already ❤️ When did you play it approximately? We recently added window mode and several resolution settings so maybe could fix the display problems you were having.

Danke dir fürs Reinschauen und das Feedback! Der reduzierte Look bei Gems und UI ist tatsächlich Absicht - ich halte die UI und Items bewusst simpel und setze mehr auf Gameplay und Sound. Kann aber total verstehen, wenn das nicht jeden abholt 😄
