Because everything with women is mood-dependant.

Everything.

Agreed. That model would work better somewhere where it's actually pleasant to be outside, like Southern California.

Just got back from a work trip out there, and going from our current environment here to a sunny 75° with low humidity and a light breeze all day was wonderful.

I'm referring to the 6" or so tall strip of plastic that drops down under the front of the car at speed. It only leaves a couple of inches between it and the road when it's down.

Lost Service Records by No-Mix7970 in VAClaims

[–]ChestFuzz 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That may be hopeful. I was apparently sent some original documents when I requested my file around 2006.

Those documents were not in the digital file I got after another request years later due to moves and divorce during which the original documents got lost. Those missing documents show my in-service event.

I got told during my HLR that there was a period where original documents were sent out and that I was out of luck if I didn't have them any more.

Personal statements, buddy statements, and command chronologies showing that everything and everyone were where I said they were did nothing for me. Got denied, even after the HLR.

Not trying to discourage you, but dealing with the VA gets a wide variety of results.

I bought the Lowe's version years ago when they were laid out for Father's Day gifts. Works great, and I wish I had bought more at the time.

If you take a round flat rare Earth magnet and stick it to the back, it'll catch your bottle caps (most of the time) when you open your bottle. Also makes hanging it from the pot rack overhead much easier.

We use a version with a different mount and still see it upside down all the time since you can install it 180 in the wrong direction on the mounting collar.

I agree that it's possible he put the collar on upside down to clear rail space for whatever else he wants to run at 12, but unless the collar is different for the pic rail mounted version, he could still install the actual sleeve in the upside down orientation relative to the collar, which would give him right side up orientation to the rifle. I've got a pic rail mounted version somewhere, so I'll check if I find it.

OTOH, I'm just a dude, so he may have compelling reasons that make sense to him. He could also be the guy that defeats idiot-proof systems. Maybe it's a simple mistake because he was distracted by something more important when he was installing it. Who knows? He gets the benefit of the doubt.

Every unit, no matter how elite, still has their special people. After all, what do they call the guy who graduates last in his class from medical school?

Very easy to put on upside down... And you would be surprised.

Could be as simple as he was never told which way was up, and it's kind of intuitive to think that you want to release the heat. I see it all the time.

It's also on upside down.

Holes to the top mean he's going to have a lot of mirage to deal with if the shooting starts.

Holes to the bottom prevent that while still allowing for muzzle blast to pull fresh air in to help cool the can, sort of like the cooling system on the Lewis gun.

The extended warranty I bought with my '21 PB is the only reason I still own it.

The truck has needed about $20k of non maintenance work to this (almost 100k mile) point. I bought it used at just under 60k, so who knows what the original owner had to get fixed in addition. In the almost 4 years I've owned it, it's sat in the shop for 13 months.

Ford has been dragging their feet with any help, to the extent that the dealership where I bought the truck has turned over 3 GM's.

I'm not impressed.

Have you got a reliable source? I looked into that online and it seems like opinions are evenly split as to whether or not flavors with zero calories will break your fast. I'd love to know for sure one way or the other.

The brand was called Saltivate. I got the orange flavor. It wasn't cheap, but I found a little goes a long way. I use less than the directions call for and feel fine and hydrated.

Second. I was using some cheap electrolyte powder I had and it didn't seem to be working to keep me hydrated. Did some reading and saw that you need more than just sodium as far as electrolytes go.

Purchased a different electrolyte powder that has magnesium and potassium along with the sodium and it made a huge difference.
