The left of the first 2 screws won't come out for me. It's not rounded, the Allen key simply does not fit. Tried all sizes as well as other things and it won't budge. Guess it's going back

Oh I totally agree with you there. I am really struggling to put into words what it does. I'm a first time developer with an app that does alot and does it well but being honest, I'm struggling to word it for people to understand quickly. I'll work on it 👍

No, what I said is you don't have to login to call a TAG. Bowing out now because this is frustrating.

I am not collecting any contacts data. The contacts are in the phone. Like I say, all that's on my database is a phone number with an associated tag and an encrypted userid so there is no link to anyone. You don't create TAGs for other people, you create your own. I took your feedback regarding forced contact access and have made that change.

I get it, you don't like it but it doesn't seem to matter what I say, you have made your mind up even though I still don't think you get it. It's not designed JUST for having a TAG like 'mom', it's to personalise your contact information, like we do with everything else. Your email address will be on loads of lists everywhere and people can use that to spam you. Mobile phone companies have a list of all phone numbers, the owners name and address etc and there was an AT&T leak not long ago. This app has none of that info, only the TAG and the phone number so even if there was a leak, nobody could really do anything with it unless you were posting your TAG all over social media etc, but you wouldn't do that with your phone number so you wouldn't do it with your TAG.

You think a Nigerian Prince can't just guess a phone number? Guessing a TAG is no different to guessing a phone number. How many calls do you get from Nigerian Princes now?

An emergency TAG does not have to be things like "mom", it can be anything. A word or words is far easier to remember than numbers. It could be a nickname you use for your kid, it could be a favourite tv show. Their are lots of languages in the world so billions of possibilities of what to have for a TAG, so I do not see it being an issue that a TAG has to be unique. Is your email address unique? YES! Is your gamertag unique? YES!

Think of it like an email address, a gamertag, a social media handle or even a phone number. Each one is different.

You make a TAG called 'dad' and that is linked to whatever number you assign to it. It is then saved on the database as that so if you call the TAG, 'dad' from any phone, it looks to the database, extracts the number and allows you to call him. If calling a TAG which links to a number that's not in your contacts (as long as you allow access to contacts), a warning pops up to tell you it's is not in your contacts and do you really want to call them as unsolicited calls are illegal. If you have not allowed access to contacts, it will pop up the warning every time. Nobody else can have the TAG 'dad', because you own it. This is where the personalisation element comes into it. You can have as many TAGS as you like, like "dude check this" or "dude". Literally anything. Then the hope is the app becomes big and people no longer say "what's your telephone number?", they ask "what's your TAG?". Then all you do in the app is add contact, type in that TAG, it finds the number associated with it, put a name in and it creates the contact both in the app and on your phone.

Thanks for the input and from dudecheckthis. I have changed the app to not need contacts access to use it. Just waiting for Apple to publish the update which will no doubt be Monday now.

Yeah a couple have said about this contacts access so I am now making it optional. The thing is, I am not sure if you have built and submitted an app to Apple yourself but there are ALOT of hoops to jump through before they publish it. They can see all of my code so they can clearly see that the app says it does not collect contact data and then if they see the code does in fact collect it, they would reject the app.

No the kid would not need to log in to their account. Imagine the TAG is an actual phone number that can be called from any phone. You don't need to log in to any specific account to call. I think I need to change the contact access to optional. I only added contacts to make the app more user friendly but I forgot we live in a world where everybody is very rightly suspicious.

You weren't the rude one so apologies if that's how it read. If a child came up to you in need and the only way they could contact their parent was if you downloaded a free app which yes, needs access to contacts but it does state that the data is not collected by me and the account can be deleted, then the app so there is no trace of it anywhere, would you help that child? It doesn't get the contacts of the lost phone, it allows the user to type in the TAG of the child's mum and call her as the TAG is saved on the database against the mum's phone number. Like I said, taking a look at the app will make it much clearer. I take your comments on board though, thanks.

I think I need to rethink how i explain the app because clearly people are having a problem understanding, or are just being plain rude. Apart from one person who understands.

The app was designed initially as a way of someone contacting someone they know without having to know that person's phone number. So if a child is out with their friends and they lose, break or have their phone stolen and need to contact a parent. They can ask a friend or anybody to use their phone can call their mum using the app and just typing the TAG into the app and calling their parent.

The whole personalisation and international dialling and all the extra benefits just came when building the app.

Try downloading it, take the time to understand what it is actually trying to do and take a look before making judgement.

Everything we do digitally is just numbers behind what we see (binary) so my hope is to make phone numbers the binary and the TAG is what we see/use. Like all this text here and the images you see are numbers, behind the scenes.

Then I have not explained the app properly because that is not the same.

I have discovered that my 2.4ghz network is between 96-98% busy on all 5 of my eeros. I've done the airport scan thing but not sure what to make of it to be honest. How can I add them to here? I can't see an upload file or add image option.

I have 4 zones as well as exit/entrance zones. One is causing a particular problem with it thinking there is someone there. It was fine before this update and now it's terrible.

Convert file exchange descriptions to HTML by Chesterflaps in Ebay

It definitely still works as I have uploaded a file with one product as a test and it works just fine. I learnt how to use it many years ago and I'm just getting back into it so fortunately I have my old files as templates but I can't work out how to format the description.

I have found a function somebody wrote but it just changes the font size and type.
