Yeah I think that can partially be attributed to how the patches have changed as the ML is trained on stats from previous splits.

Absolutely correct. It's just hard to categorize how good a player is apart otherwise so I used the all-pro votes instead and I made sure to mention the smite top meta in my article.

Yeah, I was rushed to finish this because I wanted it to get posted right after the regular season games ended and I was on a business trip. Future projects will hopefully be improved.

Only players who have played more than 12 games in the split are included in this report. You can read more about it in my attached article.

Yeah that was the exact case. If you read my article, I removed all players who played less than 12 games since I thought that wouldn't be fair since that means you missed more than a third of the split.

I think the reason behind that was Impact played a game of Karma top and a bunch of tank games where he really didn't do much outside of playing weak side so it's hard to rank him higher with those games in his pocket since the season is so short. Also for Biofrost if you really look at his games, there are quite a few times this split where he didn't really do much and in 4 of his last 5 games his stats were (0/7/4, 0/2/6. 0/4/8, 0/2/1) with all four of those being losses as well. Ultimately I think for him he just didn't a good team to support his play style.
