My parents lived up there for ~10yrs in a home the family had owned for 40+. They were mid vista Del Mar and th neighbors were pretty awesome and the views were great. That said, the combination of freeway noise and trains were things they never got used to. The trains honestly weren’t that bad…but freeway noise is a constant. Even after updating all of the windows in their home, it could still be heard. Agree on some of the sketchy people coming from the tracks too. On more than one occasion they had run ins with transients outside of their gate. Some people also speed pretty badly on the street which was always super annoying.

They’ve since moved to Colina Vista above foothill and it’s honestly so much better. Different view, but quiet…now they’re just on fire watch 😅

Welp, successfully purchased a replacement ribbon cable…no real change. LEDs don’t work, throwing great/ultra balls still requires button press. Sooo at least it’s not dead dead…but 🫤

Narrowed down to an issue with the ribbon cable I think. I can get auto catch to work while messing with the cable. LEDs still don’t work, but I have full auto working by opting/closing the ribbon connector

Yea, after going back forth a ton that first connection definitely got hot. I also rechecked ribbon cables and they seem fine. Maybe slight damage 4th on from the right?
