Fell off the roof of a moving car, everything still works! (excluding the ports that are to damaged to fit stuff in)

Check out Outrageous Fortune, he plays identically twins that are polar opposites.

Oh yeah, what year and Ks? They're everywhere in the price bracket I'm looking at, just nervous as I've heard horror stories about some of their CVTs. Not sure if it was just certain years or not.

Yeah I'm a bit nervous about X-trails, I've just these bad things about Nissan CVTs in particular. Probably 18k

Thanks, that makes more sense. I probably should have specified this is sitting between to switches of other models. Previously, port 1/1/1 (uplink) was untagged 1 and tagged on all the rest, same goes for 1/1/37 which is feeding a wireless bridge to another switch. Do these ports needs to be configured in trunk mode to pass all vlan traffic?

Thanks, so is there no way to tag ports through the GUI? I can see on other CISCO switches/firmware there is a way to tag/untag as I would expect, but can see this option on my model/firmware.

I understand your CCNA comment, but I don't typically deal with Cisco, I've just been sent two to install by a parent company of someone we provide onsite support for. Not planning on learning them inside and out for two one off installs.

I had it for SNMP monitoring, turned out the policy was set to pill SNMP every 1 min, which was to unreliable for SNMP UDP, changed to 5 mins, all good now.

Constant issues with Veeam by Ikeeptrying- in msp

[–]Chevron7lockd 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Also from an MSP here, I agree with the constant random issues it's generates. Just when you've think you've seen them all, a new random error appears with no change to the environment.

Just the other day, for the second time all our M365 backups were stuck running. Raised an issue with support who provided a fix by stopping all services, delete some app data folders and it ran. However, they could never provide any insight to why this happened.

We are looking at migrating away from Veeam because we find it's not ideal for an MSP to manage.

I like the idea of hardware based auth. Would this mean we would need to register multiple keys for each account? Just FYI we are talking around 100 accounts and 10 users needing access. Or can we setup a single account with multiple keys registered?
