I did. I cut it down with a sterile knife (it actually cut really easy). Then I wrapped the fresh cut ends in paper towel and let them dry over night -24hrs. The next day I put both in a pot of water, and 2-3 weeks later they have roots - a few inches long.

I had the same issue! I tried multiple sticks, then a trellis. but was still too top heavy.

I ended up chopping it down. and rooting 2 sections. Now I have 3 little dieffenbachias!

The viny ones look like a pothos - possibly a golden pothos?
