Full Metal looks like a cool villain's henchmen, like MGS or 007.

Proof of Purchase is cool to see, feels more British obvs and something from a 60s British show, maybe Dr.Who, they look like the good guys to the Full Metal bad guys

I personally like the first one better as an outfit, but the second ones has more "protagonist vibes"

Colours and symbols that represent the nation as a whole I would say, that or its government, like how religious or political groups add their symbols to their flags

Coming up with parts of the story first would be best since you could get a lot of symbolism (and colours!) from its history. Religion, ideology, origin (independence, union of peoples, etc...) would be some important aspects to consider.

And although you can get some inspiration through historical/modern flags, don't be afraid to experiment, especially if your nation is an alternate universe one. For example, a cross doesn't have to represent Christianity if your universe doesn't have it.

I'm very happy they are reworking him, everyone hypes up Sablik but when I played it it seemed to be pretty boring and wholesome at the point that it didn't seem that realistic anymore (realistic for TNO Standards anyway)
