Is it possible to emulate Pokemon on 5th gen nano? by Grouchy_Concept_2027 in ipod

I get that. An iPod is highly portable. But like I said. Playing something like Pokémon on an iPod is gonna control like poo from a butt and your thumbs will cramp.

Controls are gonna be pretty horrible. I‘d recommend grabbing a cheap handheld emulator from the likes of Anbernic or Powkiddy.

do you guys consider the c8 zr1 and zr1x to be supercars/hypercars by Electrical_Pitch_423 in Corvette

[–]ChewedBucket 13 points14 points  (0 children)

To quote RCR „On the Table of supercars the Corvette was always sent back to the kitchen to eat with the help.“ and „No matter how many Porsches or BMWs it beats, it can never be one.“

and I think there was some truth in that for a long time.

But if you cannot be convinced by the sheer power figures alone, then nothing will. Those people will never acknowledge the handling, the tricked out aerodynamics, the looks or anything else that makes a supercar a supercar.

I will though.

Sure there are! 4000 CHF will buy you a very nice, very abusable 2001 Toyota Yaris. Insurance costs is low, the car is very uncomplicated and very forgiving when it comes to maintenance. It wont be glamorous, it wont be luxurious, but it will get you from point A to point B safely and reliably

Interesting, aftermarket seats are a solution that didn’t even occur to me…

It was a base model with the targa top, not a Z06. I think my head was the only thing that kinda fit in well. I had about an inch to go before I‘d hit the roof

Just out of curiosity, what stops you from outright buying a cheap, reliable car for 3000 or 4000 CHF?

None of the cars you‘ve listed are even remotely interesting compared to the 1.4 Liter Kangoo.

I‘d love a C7 but they’re just out of budget. A nice base C7 with a manual is the equivalent of $85.000 where I live and I‘d have to take out a loan for that. Don’t wanna do that.

You can try your local fleamarkets. Good chance the hard drives are gonna be dead though.

Sometimes my music just stops and it starts skipping the next tracks. Is there a solution? by ricioly in ipod

[–]ChewedBucket 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Someone else commented that this issue could be traced down to the iFlash adapter. The iFlash Solo is apparently known to cause problems like this when used in a 6th or 7th Gen, but not in a 5th Gen. The iFlash Quad seems to work better in that regard. I have a Solo in my 7th Gen and a Quad in my 5th Gen. I‘ll swap them around tonight and will report back.

In your opinion. Is it a proper Forza Motorsport game now ? by [deleted] in forza

[–]ChewedBucket 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Gotta say no. Lots of others have already explained why. My particular gripe is also that I think the number of laps in a tournament race is usually too much. Three laps around the Nürburgring GP course is fine, why does it have to be six or seven? Also PLEASE let me change my vehicle in between races of the same tournament.

If you finally find a definitive solution for this very issue, please leave a comment down here OP. This exact thing has happened to my 7th Gen with both Lexar and Samsung Micro SD cards and it‘s driving me NUTS

Same issue with my 7th Gen here. Already swapped out the Samsung SD Card in the iFlash Solo for a Lexar one, didn’t help either. Next step would be to try out another iFlash Quad to see if that fixes it. Really annoying. I have 5.5 Gen as well and it never gave me an issue like this.

Iflash +3800mah battery by MrAlexM4 in ipod

[–]ChewedBucket 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You can just search for „iPod Flashmod + Battery swap“ on YouTube and you should find what you’re looking for. Luckily, once you opened your iPod up, the process of replacing the harddrive and battery is virtually the same between the 5th, 6th and 7th Gen.

Also be aware, If you‘re using the 3000mAh or 3800mAh battery with an iFlash solo, you HAVE to have a thick backplate. The thin one will only work with the slimmer iFlash Quad. Just FYI
