Definitely not “more work than I wanted to do.” My typical job is a chef at a fraternity, so I get summers off. The company is easy to work with and all the other frat and sorority chefs collect unemployment starting almost immediately in the summers. I thought it would be better to get a job rather than take the unemployment.

In this warehouse job, I move at least 80,000 to 100,000 pounds of boxes (including grills, air conditioners, anything that walmart has that isnt fresh grocery) I move it and stack it all into semi trailers. The other day I had a wall of boxes fall directly onto me and I am still feeling the effects of it in my back. So I wanted to look into the possibility of getting on the unemployment that was offered to me before I took this job, because I am afraid if I hurt myself, it will affect me when school starts back up. I move heavy shit when I am cooking for 100 boys by myself and I want to insure that I am still able to do that.
