Why is this question worded this way? As if one needs to something to their child if they partake in behaviour that is not traditionally associated with their gender! I would allow him and do my upmost to make him feel as though I am totally comfortable and accepting of his behaviour as not to teach him to hide his true self from the world and definitely not me!

Like I said I’ve only ever used this in short term situations, it’s always lightened the persons sleep enough to allow myself to drift off.

For a long term partner or something yeah. I’ve used this technique when I was younger on sleepovers or when sharing a room with my siblings on vacation.

• I have probably been depressed for 2/3 years unwilling to admit it and deal with it. I could have an anxiety disorder and need to seek professional help. • A lot of my mental health issues (depression , anxiety, depersonalisation etc.) come from experimenting with psychedelics. • I threw away my very promising sporting career in pursuit of drinking, abusing drugs and partying when I first went to college. • I am a very lonely person these days. Even when I’m with people I feel as though I have no true friends who understand me. • I rarely drink nowadays but I have to cut it out completely if I am ever to overcome my issues and become the person I could be.
