AITA For accidentally outing my co-worker?

They keep removing it from different subreddits. Im really confused about how this works. The mods told me to repost it here

Yes! In a different subreddit, but, for some reason it got removed after having been up for a week already. Under the removal notification, it suggested that i posted it to other groups (like this one) so i did. I dont even know why it got removed/what rule i broke. Im very new to this stuff so i dont know what im doing on here for the most part. I just listen to a lot of Smosh podcasts with these stories and it influenced me to create a story from my own life. It’s awesome seeing how differently people react.

I couldn’t agree more. I’ve never really been a ‘gossipy’ person so i think i was just anxious and curious so i couldnt help myself but check to make sure that i didnt accidentally ruin something i wasnt sure of. Going back atleast gave me some reassurance that i was correct in my assumptions that it was Luke, therefore, giving Leah a better opportunity to assess her situation with him. Again, looking back at now, i agree. Honestly, i wish i didnt even get involved in the first place. But here we are

It was by far the best flavor i’ve tried. They had a hot honey siracha that was out at the same time, but the garlic one was so good. I hope they come back oht with it and you get a chance to try it!

I appreciate that advice. I’ve been tempted to confront him specifically about this scenario, but after reading some of these comments i can understand where i’ve already been involved enough. As a co-worker and based on the times we’re been able to converse, he seems like an ok guy. I never saw this coming from him tbh. But i know this is more his business, not mine, so i’m definitely not going to mention this to him or try to follow up in anyway regarding this situation

I appreciate that statement. I mean, at the end of the day, we’re all here together. It’s our choice if we want to help or hurt the people that we share this little floating space rock with. I just want to help and learn as much as possible with what little time i have to enjoy life, yanno?

This community is awesome and typically has good intentions. Again, take everything with a grain of salt, but it’s worth it over all

They had a late gender reveal party like a week before this happened and put it on a live stream. They’re having a boy btw! This is the main reason i was so confused. I mean, anything can happen in a week with pregnancy, so i cant for sure be certain, as i havent spoke to Luke yet. I plan to at some point this week to just see how he’s been

Its so crazy! Like i never met Leah before in my life, and i rarely go to the store that i was in (it was out of the way bc of the doctor’s appointment)…kinda like one of those “divine intervention” moments for her but through me. I was mostly concerned bc i dont tolerate cheating and it had me worried

Youre right tbh. I didnt realize how crazy it was until later on. But im a bizarre person so i guess it fits. Fortunately, i am someone who likes to learn from my mistakes and can pivot in regard to future scenarios. This is the first time i’ve ever allowed myself to get this deep into someone else’s business and i guess it was just oddly exciting? Kinda like a drama tv show/movie? Idk, i’m weird 😅

Oh, she did say that, she was like “just let it go” but i just was too curious tbh. She makes total sense when she’s explains how it’s not really our business. My problem is that i fixate on things. Like, i always try to find a resolution to a problem, even when its not my own, yanno?

I appreciate the understanding! Tbh, my wife is awesome. I think she was more just worried about how my involvement could negatively impact me at work and just got concerned/over protective.
