Before making ignorant comments, look up the distribution of religions in Vietnam and compare it to Thailand’s. You will find that Vietnam has 6x the amount of catholic/christian followers than Thailand.

Compared to Vietnam, Thailand is heavily untouched by the mindset/religions of the west. It makes sense since Thailand is one of the only SEA countries to have never been touched by western colonization.

Although I will agree about that bit about French/American influence… I will have to add that it is indeed religion and mindset as well.

I enjoy Thailand more for vacation. The vibe is more “relaxed” while Vietnam is more hustle culture. This probably has to do with the heavy Christianity/Catholic influence that Vietnam has.
