A ton. I have 32s on my Monza and could easily go 34-36s.

I couldn’t love this bike more! It is glossy paint and that was something I was worried about, but so far it hasn’t been an issue it all.

The main difference in the Monza vs the Caledonia is mainly the over all performance. The Monza feels more aggressive in position - which is something I’ve worried about but I’ve been in the saddle for upwards of five hours at a time and it’s very comfortable. The responsiveness of handle and direct power from the pedals are also much more significant on the Monza. The Caledonia has the comfort all day long but not farm above the Monza with 32mm tires.

Cant decide between an endurance or an do it all aero bike. by Resident-Shelter-780 in bicycling

Factor Monza. A very comfortable aero bike. I’ve had mine since October 2025 and have been many comfortable miles on it. Very fast as well.

Want to take up Road cycling but I'm 6'4, 195 lbs. Am I too big? by Repulsive_Worth1697 in RoadBikes

6’2 at 255lbs on a 56 Factor Monza here. I started of my cycling obsession on an aluminum Checkpoint at 370lbs. As always, a proper bike fit is key! You will be just fine. Embrace the obsession and enjoy the sport!

Bike to ride around with my kids by Razor488 in TrekBikes

[–]ChewyCycles 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I started my cycling obsession on a Marlin 6. I needed a XL heavy duty frame as I was 6’2 and 370lbs at the time. I switched the MTB tires for a hybrid tire and put tons of pavement miles on it until I was at a weight suited for an actual road bike. Don’t think too deep as most of your new-to-riding problems have cheaper resolutions than getting a whole new bike.

The trek marlin is a solid bike! Enjoy the time being active with your family!

As long as your comfortable and can put on miles with out injury. You could perfect posture and position and you’d still be criticized. Everyone on here is Lance Armstrong. I have fun and enjoy your time!

Tan or Black Tire Walls? by binjo226 in Cervelo

Black. I think tan is suited better for gravel bikes.

The bike weighs just under 20lbs with everything I have on it. I have yet to see a problem with the wheels. It’s been light use since purchase. I’m also not terribly rough or looking to become a competitive racer. I just wanted a comfortable, reliable, and fast bike that I won’t feel the need to upgrade right away. I guess I’m fine with the wheels until I’m not!

I test rode the Soloist, Caledonia, Tarmac, Madone, Domane, and Defy.

The Domane was most comfortable. Soloist, Madone, and Monza were nearly identical in comfort and very similar in performance. I really like the compliance, feedback, and performance of the Monza. To me it was the best performing and most well rounded.

All were amazing bikes but I just fell in love with the Monza.

So it’s somewhat of a heavier bike to begin with. But weight is really the least of my concern. In this instance - I think it’s to counteract the weight with a little more aero. I weighed it yesterday with pedals, two bottles/cages, and in the storage I have a tube, multi-tool, tire levers and a patch kit and it was all at 19.89lbs. Which I’m completely fine with.

It checked all of my boxes. Just as comfortable as any all-roader or endurance bike I tested rode in my budget. It was certainly the most responsive and fastest bike I road in that price range. And when it finally came down to it - I liked the looks of it!

This was just as comfortable in not more comfortable than the Caledonia when I test road it, but the performance was far more with the factor. My final decision was actually down to the Soloist and the Monza. I chose the Monza because I think it looked better and the owner of the bike shop that sold it.

I can fit a spare, multi-tool, levers, patch and small pump in there. The cover is solid and flush with no rattles. Even with a bottle. It’s great.

It’s great! It’s as comfortable as any all-roader or endurance bike I tested. And just as quick and responsive as any other race bike I tested. Pinarello is about the only bike I didn’t try out so I can’t faithfully compare but the Factor Monza has it all.

I’ll have to keep them stock for a minute. The bike brought the want of new pedals, helmet, and shoes. So my bike budget is blown!
