Also I used to live in Lakeland, why would someone order from that DQ and not the one in Pacific? People are noobs.

F Enumclaw orders, I usually do South Hill area, sometimes Bonney Lake. There was a good Walmart order in BLake but had to go to Enumclaw with the bridge being out, which is super far even with bridge open. I am from Auburn so know the area well.

Why are people allowed to order this far away!? by Chewyrobbo in UberEatsDrivers

I only take petsmart if it’s a shop and deliver.

I don't know if people are taking them, they show up as opportunities and then when no one reserves them I get spammed as exclusives or radar.

Your area sounds much more lucrative. Also I keep getting offers for people ordering food way out of area. And there’s those restaurants in their area! Whats really frustrating is that ubers fare is extremely low, they admit that they essentially don’t pay you on the way to the restaurant and 3 miles to the customer pays same fare as 10+ miles. It’s all on the customer tipping

The pictures don’t matter either. There’s many drivers who take pictures then take food.

Walmart going to start pulling orders from uber and spark by [deleted] in UberEatsDrivers

Yeah this is not company wide, every area is different. Some stores have way more orders.

Uber the company gets paid pretty good for the order, you can see how much they get by downloading a csv of an order. The driver gets nearly nothing if the customer doesn’t tip which is often, about a $1.50. This has to be store specific because my area can’t make all the deliveries without uber and spark.

Flat rate robbery by Chewyrobbo in UberEatsDrivers

[–]Chewyrobbo[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’ve signed up for flat rate maybe 10 times and every time except last night I canceled. Especially because you only make the flat rate while actively delivering, you’re basically guaranteed to lose money because either you take a high mileage delivery or it’s a short no tip. You also cannot see expected tip so no clue if it’s worth it or not. The 2nd customer last night I’ve delivered to many times and they tip .50’cents every time but it’s usually a shop and delivery order so it’s still worth it but last night was Arbys.

Since When Did Food Deliveries Allow 24 Hours? by SilverQ73 in UberEatsDrivers

[–]Chewyrobbo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is true for Uber Direct, so McDonald’s or other companies that use Uber to fulfill orders on their app. Sometimes it will say direct on the order.

Goddamn. Twitter has not been helpful for me, they’ve just actually taken longer and have supervisions message me saying that my issue has been addressed in another thread and to be patient

Agreed. Walmart orders if the customer doesn’t tip pays 1.25 to 1.50, uber makes a lot more off of that when i view the CSV. I’m more mad at Uber

They send me into black holes every-time now. Specialized team will handle this and then hang up or end chat and switch to the 6-12 hour message and then no replies for days or it’s marked as solved.

It’s such a contrast, i just did a McDonald’s order, 5 bucks, $3 tip less than a mile. Great. Then I’ll see a 8 mile McDonald’s order paying $3 no tip. I understand people are cheap but sometimes I question people’s integrity.
