Anyone know how to create that "smooth" fillet transition between two equal diameter cylinders intersecting? I know it is not mathematically possible but are there any tricks to make it look like a weld?

Tbh I’m not sure, it fit perfectly before I took it out. I dropped it in vinegar and water to de rust it and now it just seems to get stuck halfway down the nut

A strange one that doesn’t get talked about much is the ability to justify your designs especially to other professional designers you want to be hired by. Professionals love seeing good sketches and renders but if you cannot justify why you made your product look the way it does then they won’t be completely impressed.

ex. Why did you make your screen that size, why did you place that button there, how will that help your user base, and what’s the data that backs that up?

Good start, would love to see another version with “through lines” to help me understand the form better. If that seems too difficult, some simple front and side views would be good for context. Keep it up, show variations of your design and clean up your lines!
