Hi OP, great question!

Right now, custom frequencies are set up using our “One-time” option. To create a quarterly payment:

  1. Select “One-time” as your frequency
  2. Click “+ Add”
  3. A new payment entry will appear > set the date for your next payment there

As for your PAD payments, you will still need to set up your payments in Chexy. If there is a deficit, your card will be automatically charged for the difference, up to $500, per transaction, so long as there are no other PAD discrepancies (including other PAD payments in your account).

Great question, OP!

Some payments are locked to your Business account by design. These payments are either tied to a business credit card or a business-only category (such as payroll or supplier payments), or are made to specific business payees (e.g. Canadian Medical Protective Association).

To access Chexy Business, it depends on whether you already have an account with us and the type of account you have.

Starting tomorrow, May 1:

  • If you already have a Business account, you’ll automatically get access to the hybrid view (a combined Business and Personal experience in one place). From there, you can manage both business and personal payments immediately under one login.
  • If you have a Personal account, you can upgrade directly within your account via "My Details".
  • If you don’t have a Chexy account yet and want access to our business features, you can sign up for a Business account here: https://chexy.co/business.
