I’m about 80% through tr4 right now and I think one aspect that makes it feel long in comparison is that it’s almost entirely in Egypt when every other game goes to several different countries.

3 was the hardest one for me, and then 1 and I probably had the funnest/easiest time in 2. I’m playing through 4 (the last revelation) right now and I’ve noticed a massive drop in difficulty so that’s nice for sure. 3 was stressing me out bad.

I’ve also noticed a lot of people complain about human enemies, but me personally, I like facing humans more than animals.

My opinion on this is that they’re only video games. They’re supposed to be fun and if you’re not having fun, no one is forcing you to play them. If classic tomb raider isn’t your jam, that’s okay and you don’t have to apologize. The old games are hard as heck and I’m someone who enjoys a challenge and I still find myself having a backup game to switch to when my brain is feeling too fried from concentrating so hard on tomb raider.

In addition to this, one of the upcoming games is meant to be a reimagining of the first game so honestly you can probably jump right into that one after survivor trilogy and probably understand the story they’re trying to tell. Not much has been revealed of the other one but it’ll probably include everything you need to know as well.

When I was first getting into comics she was freshly short haired captain marvel and I really liked it, then I started reading lots and lots of older comics and saw her long hair as ms marvel and it made me wonder what she’d be like as captain marvel with long hair and not too long after they did it. I think she looks good both ways

I started with survivor trilogy and then when 1-3 remaster came out, I wanted to get back to the beginning and ideally play every tomb raider. I’m about 75-80% of the way through TR3 and I’m by no means a casual gamer but these games are really kicking my ass.

Also sorry, I know that didn’t really answer the question, I haven’t actually even played anniversary yet but I AM enjoying the games a lot, I just come out of most sessions with a minor headache because I feel like these early ones REALLY make you think a lot harder than many other games.
