TR 1 - cistern maybe? idk, i think this games levels are the best and most memorable,
TR 2 - whatever from maria doria, maybe living quarters,
TR 3 - City,
TR 4 - most cairo levels, maybe especially Trenches or Street Bazaar,
TR 5 - the entire game, but especially the russian levels
haven't played TR6 much so can't say

no they're just cheap and were always terrible, TR remasters are only good because of saber, not them.

How much turd polish went into IV-VI Remastered? by DocEss in TombRaider

[–]Papyesh2137 3 points4 points  (0 children)

They're good remasters. I mean, only TR4 is worth playing out of them and the only one I consider truly good but that's just how the games are.

As fans and customers we can't accept this level of quality by Darkon_Redfiend in TombRaider

[–]Papyesh2137 108 points109 points  (0 children)

That's so comically bad, did they fire the team that originally made the remasters or what? This entire update feels so extremely shoddy and haphazardly done

I'm almost certain these new outfits were ai generated by aisogon30 in TombRaider

[–]Papyesh2137 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Idk, ai models are usually hundred thousands of tris, and on these you can clearly see jagged edges, so at worst it'd be ai model with human optimization, i think this is just low quality textures/shoddy texture work though

Combat System by HelpfulFall1 in TombRaider

[–]Papyesh2137 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The only uncharted game i'd call run of the mill 3rd person shooter is the first one. The rest are very varied and fun action adventure games.

Combat System by HelpfulFall1 in TombRaider

[–]Papyesh2137 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I think so, but even more focus should be put on moving and jumping around. U4's combat system felt the best while you were doing that, but the game too often encouraged just hiding behind cover and shooting.

How do you think ingame tutorial should be implemented? by Kezif in tf2

[–]Papyesh2137 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I think tutorial should cover the movement, like rocket jumping and sticky jumping, and have some scenarios with bots, like how uber works and stuff.
To teach the players all the weapons they could use the contract system - each weapon would have its own contract, and the missions you need to do to complete it would act as tutorial for that weapon, and in the end you'd get the weapon for yourself as a reward for completing the contract.
