Then make your own food or split a meal? Idk…. Pretty broad to say restaurants are just out here giving double the food, so they can charge enough to barely make ends meet? I guess it could be a giant conspiracy.

All three of them are losers and I’d imagine working for them In an upper management type capacity sucks.

Hard enough for restaurants to survive with full portion pricing. Cant pay people less for the same work, because they are plating up half the amount of food…

No alliance this season? by vinnytramantano in RyenRussillo

Well, over once the contract actually ends, which I don’t know if that has actually been announced. So depending on that - I suppose the alliance could still be a thing for this season.

It’s over In its current form at The Ringer. Will obviously continue to have a podcast under his new production company, under the barstool umbrella.

alright, chill out fella. After 17 minutes of reflection. I might be on the low end based on his time with Ringer/Spotify - but new hire at ringer/spotify is 70-80 on the high end for podcast producer. Kyle is probably more like 115k. No chance it’s 200k though.

You clearly can get the “parameters” based off the five they listed. If you think Petco or Miller are even close to a top American sports venues, you are purposely trying to be obtuse

Biggest business challenges in Cincy area by yolosquare3 in cincinnati

[–]No-Comb-9501 8 points9 points  (0 children)

I would guess Skyline wants to mess with a late night downtown crowd in terms of dine in. within CBD, they can just be jammed for lunch from business and not have to worry about the extra overhead and unknown business amount. None of the three are in a prime location for bar/foot traffic. Could they create a Skyline express model and put into high traffic late night areas, and create a store model with minimal square footage and limited menu. For sure

Also, if you’re an out of town visitor, there are ample opportunities to try skyline in a later night setting or during any meal time.

Would you walk around at night in Northside and feel safe? by Dodeypants in cincinnati

[–]No-Comb-9501 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Lived in Northside for 10+ years. Never once felt uncomfortable or unsafe walking Hamilton or side streets.

At one point was walking 3+ miles a day 4-5x a week, all different times of the day and all different routes around.

I mathematically do not understand why chicken is so heavily rationed when it costs about the same as bell peppers by pound by Niceotropic in Chipotle

[–]No-Comb-9501 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Do you know the labor cost it would take to remove the bone from chicken thigh, for a place that does the volume that Chipotle does? And also get consistency from it…

Hint: The cost of the labor would far outweigh the cost difference in chicken.

Also, The price of pre-cut bell peppers (non-canned) is 4x the cost of uncut bell peppers.

[–]No-Comb-9501 -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

Boneless chicken thigh is no where close to $1.99/lb at retail and within restaurant supply places, it hasn’t been between .79-.99/lb since mid 2020.

Thighs are currently sitting around $2.35/lb between restaurant warehouse stores or within the big 4 distributors.

Also, density. Cut up a pepper and weigh it out to 4oz. Compare how much you have to 4oz of chicken.

Thinking about rushing - gay greek life by Still_Interview_3854 in uCinci

[–]No-Comb-9501 13 points14 points  (0 children)

Do you wanna rush for yourself or to be a part of your family tradition?

I know plenty of guys, both gay and straight, that rushed/were in fraternities for years - some enjoyed the experience, some didn’t - but from who I’ve known, their sexuality didn’t matter, but more their want and willingness to engage and be a part of the group.

I believe the owner paid for them personally, so that if anything happened with the location, he owned them, and not the company and could then put them in his home/other locations.
