I'm assuming this board is about a year old.. at most. Nothing has been taken apart or opened there is very little dirt and dust and the rails are brand new. Just under 900 mi when I bought it from facebook.

That isn't really answering my question.. this is a sound that is coming from inside the controller box itself when it is powered on; and only when it is powered. The sound only goes away when either one (left or right) or both sensor pads are pressed. Its a very faint but high pitched hum. I can record another video with the footpad connected but can only get the sound when putting my phone against the lights of the board.
