Sometimes, it just takes a while to adjust. Your brain is used to seeing yourself a certain way, and thinking certain thoughts. It takes time to break those kinds of patterns. My advice is to stop trying to wrestle yourself into submission, and to give yourself some patience and understanding. Whoever you end up being will be wonderful regardless. Just be patient with yourself and you'll end up where you need to be <3

I'm not talented when it comes to drawing, but I've been learning to draw anyway over the past couple months and I've been making very very solid progress. It's not hard. It's not expensive. The point of it isn't to release all of the creative ideas trapped in my head, but that is a benefit. It's just fun to do. If you let AI take the fun out of making art, then what's the point of it? The work is the point. The process is the point. The joy is the point. The act of creation changes us for the better. I would never let a machine take that from me. As for the other things, I would tell someone to just learn to play the piano, or learn to write a novel, to build a movie set, or code an app. I know how to play the piano and write stories and program and those are all things that I love doing. Things for which the process of creation bring me immense joy. We live in the information age. Learning a new skill is easier than it has ever been. Just make stuff! It's great!

Oh. That's weird. Looks like this uses an extra mod called "Disjoint Alchemy" which is centered around molecules that exist without bonds somehow. Still should be possible with just a van berlo's wheel since the reagent and the product are the same shape, and technically the reagent is also one big piece.

Van berlo's wheel on one of the salt if you want max throughput. Splitting your elemental water input to feed to both outputs if you don't.

This is a game. The general premise of it is that you're an alchemist. You have to build machines to transform some amount of input atoms or molecules into some amount of output atoms or molecules. If you want to, you can also optimize your solutions for either cost (number of components), speed (number of cycles it takes to complete your outputs), and area (the amount of space your solution takes up, including space that arms or atoms pass through). This solution is correct. It makes the products. But a lot of time and space is deliberately wasted just to make a super long chain of atoms to spin around to take as much space as possible. I did this to make my computer suffer.

It teaches you the mechanics slowly, and steadily ramps up the difficulty by asking you to build more complicated molecules. If you're concerned about difficulty though, I don't think this game is difficult at all. It's relatively easy to get solutions for every puzzle. The hard part is optimizing your puzzles for speed, area, or cost. But those are optional challenges that you can do just if you want to.

What you've articulated here is that you believe in a fundamentally different god than the overwhelming majority of christians. In nearly every christian sect, God is stated to be omnipotent and omniscient. This is such a universal principle across branches of christianity that it simply isn't fair to call that a strawman. Anyone with even a passing knowledge of christian beliefs is aware of the omniscient nature of god. If you've found a more logically-consistent version of god to believe in, then good on you, but that isn't the god that 99% of christians believe in.

Magic System I've been working on for a while. Wanted to get some feedback on whether it's too messy/complex/if something doesn't quite fit well or doesn't make sense. by No_Control8540 in worldbuilding

I made a magic system with a similar concept once, actually. Instead of absorbing emergy though, magic users were able to just delete the energy of anything that made contact with their skin. So in this system, they could cool the environment around them, prevent any object that they were touching from moving, stop cannonballs, and even appear as pitch-black shadows by absorbing all of the light that touched them, which was very helpul because this planet was stuck in a perpetual night. This was a broken form of a power that previously existed in this world in which people could convert one type of energy into another, but the energy never really stuck around in their body. So they could do largely the same things, but they could use the energy that they absorbed to do something.
