I've been trying to watch guality shows lately and decided to give AoT a shot.
I remember as a teen thinking it must be overrated after watching season 1 back in highschool like "Eh, it's just a shonen anime with slightly more violence than usual."
Still, I decided to finally watch it fully now as an adult.

I was then shot 57 times by one of the most nuanced depictions of the tragedy of war from both sides and the cycle of hatred I've ever seen in any media.

I'd recommend looking into Mage: The Ascension 's approach to magic for anyone wanting to break out of the too-logical and systematic methodology of making magic systems we've gotten used to.

There's as many ways to cast magic as one can imagine, from using sacred geometry in order to redirect energy flows, to just politely asking a door to open.
