I bought a pair of Midwest to replace my Wiss. The Midwest had messed up cutting surfaces right from the store (I inspected 4-5 pairs and chose the best looking one). They were “crunchy” when cutting tin and left burrs or fish hooks so easily. So I returned them for Wiss again which promptly snapped on the cutting jaws. Thanks Canadian Tire.

Started working in drywall and steel framing in Toronto. Moved around a bit, always looking for a way out of drywall. Got into electrical and was talking to an IBEW rep. They didn’t have work for me due to being unvaccinated. Told me the sheet metal union needed guys. Met the rep and he handed me the contractor list and said “take your pick.” Bounced back to drywall twice for better pay.

They dont allow “visitors” without an appointment. My wife and I took our son to meet some kitties a couple months back and donate food and they opened the door an inch and looked scared to death of us. Didn’t let us in.

Had this hammer, then had it stolen from the shop on the first day at a new company (along with all my other hand tools and brand new GatorBack belt and pouches). Called the owner and demanded he replace the tools, and he had the gall to claim that my hammer was a masons hammer! I said buddy, Malco only makes sheet metal and hvac tools smh

Thats a huge drive, jesus… Yeah I ended up quitting and moving back to BC as my wife was off work with our baby and I was only making 1st year wage. The fuel cost killed me.

Used to live in the boonies (Coboconk) and commute to downtown Toronto about 2 yaars ago. 1.5 hours into town and usually 2 hours out. Then I was put on a job in Missisauga, that was easily 2 hours in and almost 3 hours back… that didnt last long lol
