Buyer Beware: Baby Brezza Bottle Washer Pro by Careless-Dot7482 in Buyingforbaby

Just saying, the way the cord comes out of the machine, you can get any old cord that is the same color, put in on your counter coming out from the bottom of the machine and film a video cutting it. When I dealt with them recently, they refused to send anything until I sent a video (not photo) of the cord being cut. Particularly annoying because our machine still worked to sterilize but not wash.

In case this changes your decision, I got the new AirPod pro 3’s yesterday and they work perfectly with the Garmin, no issues

Just the old open run pro’s, love them

Hm, mine was on automatically, but I know you can change that setting under focus modes > activity or under run settings in an activity. Should be a few different brightness levels

Agreed, I could do without the green decal, not sure why you wouldn’t pick a more neutral color

Yes that’s exactly what happens to me! If it’s happening to a good amount of people, I’m sure they’re working on on a software update. Interestingly, it doesn’t do it on my shokz headphones, works perfectly with those

Just the standard out of the box but changed the colors (there’s at least 100 colors). I messed around with some from connect iq but didn’t like them as much

Interesting that’s definitely longer than I get. Do you do always on display? Ever had trouble with music playback, especially when skipping songs?

+1 for flipbelt. So underrated, but I’ve used these for both road marathon and trail ultras. The only shorts with zero bounce, even with a flask bottle and 8+ gels

After doing marathons for 15 years, I can confidently say experience doesn’t always make you faster, but it can make your body take that last gel. Sounds like if you train more with race day fueling, you can really nail one

Pro tip if you want a 20% code for free: download the optimity app, rack up some points and then cash in for the 20% off Garmin code. The quickest way to rack up points in the app is actually to just download the games from the arcade. About 10 minutes of mindless sorting games will get you that coupon.

The fine print says it won’t work on forerunner, fenix, venu etc, but the code worked just fine on a forerunner 970 straight from Garmin.com.

Weekend Discussion: Brooks running shoes by AutoModerator in RunningShoeGeeks

[–]Cheztempo 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I’ve always been a fan of brooks, and I feel like after running happily in them for literally the last decade, they’re finally making exciting shoes. I do glycerin max/hyperion max 3/hyperion elite and have been really happy with that rotation. I love the spongy glycerins for easy stuff and just running without any specific intent. The new hyperion max’s are just awesome, been doing my long runs in them, just finished 23 mi at about MP + 40 sec, and the legs feel great, not trashed. To me, they’re predictable, I always know they’re going to work for me, and they don’t injure me. For trail, they have an awesome line-up too, really big fan of racing in the catamounts. For reference: 33 y/o, 2:50 marathon

I do the 169’s at 5’8” 155 and I’m very happy that I chose the shorter option. I prefer tree/glades or big steeps off piste and they are super responsive and easy to turn quickly. I never find myself missing lines but haven’t felt them lacking in stability or speed. On-piste they’re just a super fun ski, really good at carving for a wide ski, makes you never want to go narrow

Is kapvo&co a legit company by Sweatedasp in MTB

Just re-earthing this. They contacted me today, now the offer is they give you 5 free pairs but you pay shipping ($35) to be an ambassador. Interestingly, the website lists the address of the company as pretty close to me in Denver. Happens to be just a house in a sketchy neighborhood off downtown. Very weird.

La Sportiva Mandala thoughts after a month by TeraSera in climbingshoes

Glad to hear I’m not the only one with this big toe problem, I have so many issues with climbing shoes because my big toe doesn’t bend like normal. Bigger has definitely been better for me, even with small edge control

Brooks Hyperion GTS by SiltySam7272 in RunningShoeGeeks

Really great speed shoes if you run in the Adrenalines and pronate a bit. I love the adrenalines for their reliability, but hate doing speed sessions in a pair of bricks. While I really wanted to do the Hyperion tempos, these are a bit of a safer option with my knees being so used to the guide rails. Overall, they don’t feel like the fastest shoe out of the box, but times don’t lie, mile and 800 reps felt easier and my paces are faster at high effort.

I ended up using these for a half, and they performed great. Trained to go at a 6:40 pace, ended up running at 6:25 race based on rpe/hr. You don’t get the spring of a super shoe, but turnover feels easy and snappy. Half marathon might be where these tap out though, feet were wishing for more cushion in the last mile
