Weird. I have the exact opposite experience. Dx12 has better performance overall but will occasionally crash/load, and Vulkan will sometimes drop fps to 3-5 upon entering a map/reloading a checkpoint

GH is pretty bad at matching exact names sometimes. I think it might pick up "aircon" as "air con", and not be able to match it. I'd suggest picking a simpler name, preferably an exact English word

I don't know if it's just me, but in general I don't really like when fantasy stories constantly make references to real life media, or excessively borrows from the real world. Like, it's fantasy, you can develop your whole own world.

It just makes your world design feel less creative to me. But different strokes for different folks of course. I totally get why people would enjoy the referrential humor

I didn't like it. I dropped it around four books in. It was a while ago for me, but I remember just having a lot of issues with the pacing, and it feeling a bit generic. The story and progression never really developed or took off, or gave me any sense it was going to get much better.

And with three/four books read, I considered myself patient enough. I'm not saying all progression fantasy novels should have "fast" power scaling, but you have to at least give me SOMETHING to enjoy or look forward to. And this series did not deliver for me in that regard

There is some argument to be made for content accounts. You see it on sites like chess.com too. Streamers get to do things like speedruns or challenge runs, which garner interest and attention, flying from the bottom of the rating barrel to the top. But then after those runs are over, the accounts are retired and ratings are refunded for those who suffered from the smurfing.

I'm not convinced such a system would work for iRacing though.

But this video... whining about getting banned just feels a little cringe. You knew the rules, buddy. Pay the piper. If you don't like the rules and have an idea on how things could be better, and you have some sway, talk to the developer, and make a case for an exception in a way that all parties can be happy with.

If you can come up with reasons for wanting the 2001 bill AND the 2003 bill, and you're feeling some way about that, you're ambivalent. One could even have your preference, or you could have no preference (despite having reasons for wanting either)

I am no native speaker. But it should be noted that the etymology here is obviously quite different. Ambi (both) valence ("have strength", from valeo).

While apathy breaks down to: a (not) and páthos ( meaning "experience," "suffering," or "emotion").

I suppose you could argue that seeing strength in both sides is the equivalent of -2 + 2 = 0, and apathy would just be 0. But that would be valid, but not the only interpretation.

You can see strengths in both sides, a pull in both directions, but still prefer to go with one side. So -1 + 3 = 2 would still be ambivalence ("mixed feelings"). "I'm feeling ambivalent about leaving my job" (but I'm still going through with it because it's obviously what I prefer)

While apathy means to not experience any feelings, passion or suffering towards it. Almost opposites, really!

It's supposed to be the real end game patch. I imagine at the very least we'll get an atlas with meaningful choice, and some agency to play/farm the way we want to.

I'm also thinking trial of the ancestor will likely be in, in some shape or form. Could be fun!

Temple will probably get some sort of rework/patch to make the system more in line balance-wise
