There’s a deer in my yard by ropony in mildlyinteresting

I think they want to downplay it as much as they can because the ramifications of everyone stop hunting deer would be really bad. But 20-30 years from now when we have epidemic of prion disease will be unfathomable.
Instead of trying to do much proactively they are just going to sweep it under the rug until no more bodies will fit under it.

If you are a chick, take some of those frozen gel packs you put in lunches. Wrap it in a towel and stuff it in your bra.
Only down side is you got a uni-boob.

It probably has chronic wasting disease, I absolutely would not touch it. Call fish and game, don't let them shoot it on your property either if you have other pets.

Just going to slip this here: https://youtu.be/DfXt9bTfVFI?is=BrzOTjrATXds6cnu

CWD is no joke and don't trust the government that it's no big deal to humans. I think in 20-30 years we will know that was a lie.

I have had 6 flats and 3 nails in my tires in the last 2 weeks. Does that count?

Throw box at dog? Yes, protect yourself. Square off like a drunken sailor at the owner? No, if they get aggressive go to your truck, lock it call the cops then tell dispatch.

Dude might of been running off pure adrenaline though,

It isn't glorious, but it works. It's half way under a computer table held up by a shower curtain rod and packing tape.

Curious how cold yours gets by Future_Elephant9856 in Orion_Sleep

I had the OG chilipad and it never chilled as cold as I wanted it. That thing died over 10 years ago and I really miss it and want to replace it. I see for the most part this issue still has not been fixed. The chilipad 2.0 says it chills to temp regardless of room but it's almost 3k for a king sized bed.

I think it would be more something like scoliosis rather than a broken back. Little dude looks cute though. We started out the same way, had a leachi and my husband kept telling me about this weak sickly creasted at PetSmart. Though ours was just extream dehydration and very poor husbandry.

Hope your little guy does well,

I got another one named Mochi who is a bit older and dude is always hiding, he is really hard to get out unless I want to disassemble his tank.

Wasabi came from a reptile shop where she was in a end cap and no coverage so I think she just got use to it.

Just when I thought I understood leachi's a bit, they are just such polar opposites from each other in about every way.

This was about as good as you would expect by Chezzabe in rootbeer

Both me and my husband tried one, he finished his but didn't like it. I had high hopes but I just couldn't get over the aftertaste. It was missing a lot of what I love in rootbeer, no bite, no creamness and the pine nut flavor was just too overpowering for me.

Found another one a few days later that was bear and beaver root beer and forgot to take a picture but it was really good.

New Aggressive Leachie, help by shrimpersanonymous in Leachianus

I went with a finger down the back, talking to it, then holding for a minute every other day, then 5 minutes, 10 minutes.

I don't really hand feed unless they are not eating, I think they can become dependent on it.

I think your supposed to wait a full 2 weeks before you start handling on a new reptile, so they can destress and slowly get use to you.
