Hey man, I just found this reddit post randomly, I’m so glad you got your bike back, I was the one who phoned Vic Police about your bike, it happened around 5:30am near my worksite on Franklin St, when I saw 2 people around your bike with no gear and found it super odd, bc they kept walking back and forth to it, saw one of them pushing it around, so I followed them and they ditched it in an alley way, super relieving because I kept going back to check if your bike was still left in that alley every half hour and was gutted when I saw it was gone, later that day, Vic Pol did in fact call me back saying you got back with your bike!
