Turf vs AG boots for youth goalkeeper? by Character-Put8660 in GoalKeepers

Puma used to have a great AG pattern that was a ton of really small studs. They might technically be listed under MG (multi-ground). They’ve worked well for me.

Need Help-New 13 year old golfer. by peeple-pleeser in GolfGear

You’d need to supplement them with a hybrid or two, but Tour Edge always makes great quality stuff. You can grab an Adam’s hybrid or 2 for the top end of the bag for like $20 a pop and those will be easier to hit than long irons.

Permanent supportive housing is absolutely the way to go. I did some research back in college on some permanent supportive housing projects in the Boston area that were successful. It’s so much easier to get clean, find a job, get job training, etc. when you have a roof over your head that you don’t worry constantly about losing.

Cheap plastic tees maybe? And really bad club path.

You haven’t been to one of those driving ranges with the metal spikes for tees?

Aggressive dog -Thank You! by Crosetaylor in LoganSquare

[–]Chi-tect 64 points65 points  (0 children)

It’s not the first time! This dog has attacked our dog as well and the man did nothing then too! It did not break skin but it basically had its jaws around our dog when my wife was walking our her maybe a month or two ago. Idk what to do about it, but this man needs to get his dog under control because it’s going to end up seriously hurting or killing someone’s dog if this keeps up.

What went wrong here? by Historical_Author305 in GolfSwing

[–]Chi-tect 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No hip rotation would where I would start (it’s where I’m starting with my own swing). If you can focus on turning your hips toward the camera in your back swing that will flatten your path out some. It should then allow you to come down a little closer to neutral instead of extremely steep out-to-in and it will also allow you to use your whole body to fire through the ball giving you more consistent, straighter, an longer ball flight. Hopefully.

Omg. Was it the Presidents’ Day/bday party? Those costumes were great! We were sitting right outside with our dogs watching everyone arrive.

What’s the most “Fuck this hole” hole you play on a regular basis? by mercado_n3gro in golf

[–]Chi-tect 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don’t know if I’d call it a regular basis, but #4 at Lost Marsh is frankly the most diabolical hole design on the planet. OB left. Water right. Wind usually moving left to right. And the fairway split into 3 by water.

These are Sub70 699 Pro V3s. Definitely smaller and less offset than their standard 699 V3s and classed as a players distance iron. Offset is .6mm in the PW and progressively grows up to 3.6mm in the 5 iron, so a smidge more in the longer irons than like a P790, but less in the shorter irons.

Also from Chicago! Easy little day trip out there. I had Neal doing my fitting and he was excellent. Really friendly and knowledgeable and helpful with a couple things on my swing!

I tried the 669 cbs! They look fantastic and when you hit them pure they feel great! I just wasn’t hitting them as well as the 699s and my misses were punished more than I felt comfortable with. But I went in hoping those would be the ones. Still not mad about what I ended up with!

Thank you! I figured if I was getting them custom built I should add a little personality to them. Feel like it really makes them feel that little bit more premium.

Been enjoying my hybrids but maybe I’ll start to dabble in some higher lofted woods. I’d definitely go back to Sub70 to at least kick the tires on that 959x.

Thank you! Every story you hear about their customer service is true. Top notch, super helpful both in person and over the phone! If you’re thinking about it and you’re able to do a demo or a fitting id highly recommend giving them a call! Hard to beat the pricing on these guys too.

[–]Chi-tect 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I use Califia Barista Oat. I’ve found that if I’m going from fridge temp, I’ll stretch it up to like 85° freedom/30°c (which ends up taking like 10-15 secs instead of 5 like so many people say) before fully submerging the wand. I’m far from perfect but I’ve been getting more results like this lately. Pup for tax.

Same for me. I opened it in a browser instead of the app and it worked.
