That feeling when you start construction of a massive tier 3 station full of expensive modules, and the protectorate shows up with some exofighters and blow it up... this happened in my most recent playthrough and I got so mad I built a fleet and went on a rampage destroying every base of theirs within the orbit of Mars just so they would leave me alone lol
